English translation

Munivar Vedashira and Ashvashira are cursed by each other to be Kaliyanaga and Kakabhushunda respectively and to hold the earthly domain of Sheshanaga.

The wise king Bahulashva asked, "O God! Charanarvinda Kaliya's head was adorned with the dust of the world, which is rare even for yogis in many births. I want to know what good deeds this Kaliya, the best of the Nagas, had done in his previous life, which brought him this fortune. Oh dear God! Tell me about that. 1-2.

Narada said, "O king! It is a thing of the past. In Swayambhuva Manvantara, a sage named Vedashira, who originated in the Bhriguvamsa, meditated on the Vindhya mountains. Ashvashira Muni came to perform penance at his ashram. On seeing them, Vedashira Muni's eyes turned red with anger and he spoke in anger. 3-4.

Vedashira said - Brahman. Do not do penance in my hermitage, for it will not be pleasant. The heat of the day! Don't you have any fertile land elsewhere? . 5.

Naradji says - Rajan! Hearing this from Veda Shiraki, Ashwashira Munike also had his eyes red with anger and spoke to Munipungava. 6. (Vrindavan Khand Chapter 11 to 15)

The Vedas said, "O wicked one! Your attitude is very corrupt. You are willing to inflict great punishment on even the smallest betrayal or crime, and you wander like a crow on this earth to make your work; so be you a crow. 9.

Naradji says - At this time Lord Vishnu appeared between the two sages cursing each other. They were both very sad with their respective curses. God comforted them both with His Word. 10.

The Lord said, "O saints! Just as both the arms are equal in the body, so both of you are equally My devotees. Oh dear God! I may lie to myself, but I do not want to lie to the devotee - that is my pledge. The Vedasira! In the state of a serpent, both my feet will be etched on your head. From that time on, you will never be afraid of an eagle. The equine! Now you have to listen to me. Don't think, don't think. Even if you are in the form of a crow, you will surely gain excellent knowledge. Uchchotika trikala visionary knowledge with yogic principles will be accessible. 11 - 14.

Mithilanaresh! At the beginning of the Chakshusha Manvantara, Prajapati Daksha, the son of the ancestors, granted Maharshi Kashyapa eleven of his most beautiful daughters as wives. The best of those girls, who were bitter, is revealed at this time as Vasudevapriya Rohini, whose son is Baldevji. That dragon gave birth to millions of giants. All those serpents were very strange, full of venomous force, fierce, and had five hundred horns. They used to wear the great maniral. Some of them were hundred-faced and some of them were poisonous. Among them were the great sages known as Vedasira 'Kaliya'. The first of them was King Phaniraja, the Eternal and Most High God. He is nowadays popularly known as' Baldev '. They bear names such as Rama, Anant, and Achyutagraj. 17-21 |

It is a matter of one day. Far from nature, Lord Sri Hari, pleased, spoke to the rest in a serious voice like a cloud. 22.

The Lord said, "No one else has the power to hold this earth over you, so hold this geography on your head." Your power is infinite, which is why you are called 'infinite'. You must do this for the welfare of the people. 23-24 |

The rest said, "O Lord! Set a period of time for you to lift the weight of the earth. As long as there is a period of days, I will bear the burden of the role on my head at your command. 25.

The Lord said, "O Nagaraja! With a thousand of your mouths you utter on every side new names that come forth from My attributes, each day individually. When my divine names are finished, may you be happy, taking off the weight of the earth from your head. 26-27 | (Vrindavan Khand Chapter 11 to 15)

The rest said, "O Lord! I will be the foundation of the earth, but who will be my foundation? How am I going to stay on top of the fire without any foundation? . 28.

The Lord said, "My friend! Don't worry about it. I will become a 'turtle' and bear your great body with great weight. 29.

Srinardji says - Nareshwar. Then Shesh got up and saluted Lord Sri Garudadhvaja. Then they went down a hundred thousand yojanas from the underworld. There, the mighty Shesh held this very grave earth with his hand and clutched it in his single hand. When the transcendent Anantadeva Sankarshana disappeared into the abyss, other Nagarajas also followed him, inspired by Brahma. Some went into the abyss, some into the abyss, some into the abyss and the great abyss, and many into the abyss and the abyss. Brahma had provided 'Ramanakadvipa' on earth for those serpents. The serpents like Kaliya and Adi started living happily there. The king! Thus I have narrated to you the story of Kaliyaka, which is all-embracing and rewarding and liberating. What else do you want to hear now? . 30-35 |

Thus was completed the thirteenth chapter under the Vrindavan Khanda in the Srigarghasamhita, the "Description of the Anecdotes of the Shesh." 13.
