A Brief Description of the Many Characters of Krishna
Srigarji says - Rajan! Now I will again briefly describe to you the success of Sriharika. Once upon a time, Lord Krishna had a wonderful pastime with Rukmini. In Aniruddha's marriage, he had Rukmini's brother Rukmi killed by his brother Balaramji. Banasura's daughter Usha had a dream and discussed it with her friend Chitralekha. Chitralekhana kidnapped Aniruddha, the grandson of Sriharika. Banasura put them in prison because they were found in the inner city of Kanyaka. Then there was a fierce battle of the Yadavas with Banasura. A war broke out between Lord Krishna and Shankar. At that time, Maheshwara-fever and Vaishnava-fever also fought among themselves. Defeated, Maheshwara-Pyarena praised Lord Krishna. 1-3.
When Banasura's arms began to be pierced by Lord Krishna, Rudra praised the Lord for protecting the demon's life. Aniruddha attained the goal of enlightenment. In front of the Yadava children, Bhagwan narrated the story of King Nruga and saved them. Balramji once travelled to Vraja, at which time the gopis lamented seeing him after a long time. He was also praised by the Gopis. Balramji drew the stream of Yamunaji from a light front for Vrindavan-Vihara. Kashiraja Poundrak was killed by Lord Krishna. Kashiraja's sons produced kritya by performing purusharana, which led to the invasion of Dwarka. Then Sudarshana Chakra also burnt Kashipuri by burning Kritya. On Mount Raivataka, Balarama slew a monkey named 'Dwivida'. When Duryodhana the Adi imprisoned Samba in Hastinapur, Balaram's valor was evident there. In the Rajasuya sacrifice of Ugrasena, Shakunika was killed by Srihari. Devarshi Narada had a vision of Lord Krishna's household and personal pastimes at Dwarkama. 4 - 7.
The daily routine of Lord Krishna, the praise of Srihariki from the messenger sent by the captive kings, Indraprastha journey of the Lord with the Yadavas and Uddhav, the slaying of Jarasangha by Bhimsen in Girivraj, the coronation of Jarasandha's son Sahadeva, the praise of Krishna by the freed kings, the early worship of Srihariki in the Rajasuya Yajna, the slaying of Shishupala, the rebuttal of Duryodhana's pride, the twenty-seven-day war between Pradyumra and Shalvaka, the arrival of Sri Krishna in Dwarakama, the playful slaying of Shalva, Dantavakra, and his brother Viduratha by the hands of Krishna, etc., were recorded. 8-11 |
The king! Subsequently, the Kauravas organized a prank at Hastinapura, defeated Yudhishthira, along with his brothers and Bharya, and left for the forest, leaving their mother Kunti in Vidura's house. There they lived for a long time in various wilderness areas. Then Duryodhana became king and followed the earth with great joy; but when Yudhishthira, the son of Pandu, left, the people did not congratulate him. Balarama and Krishna met the Pandavas, who were suffering in the forest, one day, and the two made them patient. Along with the Pandavas, Krishna returned to Dwarka. He narrated all the misdeeds of the Kauravas to the court of Ugrasena. Hearing all this, all the Yadavs were amazed and spoke. 12-16 |
The Yadavs said, "Ah! What did King Dhritarashtra do with it? He deceitfully drove the impoverished nephews out of the house by winning them over through deceit and gambling. The Kauravas, who had lost their kingdom, would be destroyed by their iniquity and the Lord would grant the kingdom to the Pandavas. 17-18 |
Srigargaji says - Nripeśvara! Hearing this from the Yadavas, Lord Krishna came to his house in the evening and paid obeisance to the Mother. Seeing the son coming and bowing down, Devaki happily blessed him and the sati sadhvi Devi lovingly fed him. Then Krishna came to the palace of his queens and slept there, worshipped by the beloved. 19-22 |
