English translation
Shaktabhanjan; Utkacha and Grasshopper Udvar; Description of both their previous births.
Mr. Gargji said, "Shaunak! Thus I described the supreme divine character of Lord Krishna. The man who listens to it with devotion is grateful, he has attained the supreme Purushartha - there is no doubt about it. 1.
Srishankaji said, "Munne! The auspicious character of Lord Krishna is the supreme sweet pot prepared from nectar. We were grateful to hear it directly from your mouth. The heat of the day! King Bahulashva, the greatest of saints, was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna. There was always peace in their hearts. Then please tell me what he asked Munivar Naradaji. 2-3.
Mr. Gargji said, "Shaunak! Subsequently, King Bahulashva of Mithila was overjoyed and in love. The godman then said to Naradaji, contemplating the most perfect Lord Krishna. . 4. . (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
King Bahulashva said, "Munna! You have done a lot of good deeds. Your contact has made me blessed and grateful; for the company of God's devotees is rare and insurmountable. Oh no! Wonderful Bhaktavatsala Sir, tell me what strange pastimes Lord Krishna went through in his childhood. . 5 - 6.
Srinardji says - Rajan! You are a follower of Krishna-compliant religion, you have asked this very good question. Surely the saint is the one who extends the welfare of all along with men. 7.
The children said that the child, sleeping on the cradle, was throwing his legs in tears to drink milk. The same foot hit the shaft, causing the shaft to overturn. This was not believed by the Gopas and Gopis. They were all amazed and wondered - 'Where is this little three-month-old baby and where is this squirrel with such a huge burden!' Yashoda became suspicious that the child had been bitten by a child. So they took the boy to Goddam and performed a ritual planetary sacrifice by Brahmins. In it, he completely satisfied the Brahmins with wealth, etc. 14 - 16.
Sri Bahulashvana asked, "O Lord! What virtuous deed did this demon named 'Utkacha' perform in his previous life, as a result of which he immediately ran for salvation after receiving the touch of Lord Krishna's feet? . 17.
Srinardaji said, "Mithileshwar! He was the son of Hiranyaksha in a previous birth. One day he went to the ashram of Lumsanji and there he crushed the trees of the ashram. Seeing Mahabali with a fat body standing tall, the Brahmin sage, in a fit of rage, cursed him - 'Evil! You will be left without a body. 'By the digestion of the same karma, his body fell from the serpent-body like a earthworm. Seeing this, he fell at the feet of the great demon Muni and spoke. 18-20 |
Let's get the hang of it! You are an ocean of grace. Have mercy on me. Oh my goodness! I did not know your influence. Please give me my body. 21.
Srinardji says - Rajan! After that, he was pleased with Muni Hamsa. The wrath of saints who have seen the hundred principles of Vidhata, that is, before whom a hundred Brahmas have passed away, is also rewarding. Then what is there to say for their boon to be salvation? 22.
Your body will remain airy till the time you are sighted, "said Lamshaji. After this, the Vaivasvata-manvantara will come. At the same time (at the end of the twenty-eighth Dwapara) you will be liberated by the touch of the feet of Lord Shri Krishna. 23. (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
Says Srinardji - Rajan. Due to the said Varada curse, the demon Utkacha also became the lord of the supreme abode due to the glory of Lamshaji. My salutations to the noble saints who are free to grant boons and curses. . 24.
The king! One day, Nandarani was playing with child Krishna in Yashodaji's godown and Nandarani was pampering him. Soon the child began to look as heavy as a mountain. They were unable to keep her in the barn and began to wonder aloud, 'Oh! Where did the mountain-like heaviness come from in this child? He then placed Balagopal on the ground but did not reveal the secret to anyone. At the same time, the Mahabali demon 'Grasshopper' sent to Kansaka came and played in the courtyard and took the beautiful child Krishna away in a whirlwind. Then the dust rose in Gokul, causing darkness and loud noises. For two hours, everyone's eyes were full of dust. At that time, Yashodaji was nervous about not seeing his salad in the courtyard of the Nanda temple. The weeping began to look up at the pinnacles of the palace. They looked very terrible. When her saliva was nowhere to be seen, she fell unconscious to the ground and, upon regaining consciousness, began to weep aloud, as if the cow were weeping when the calf died. The gopis, distraught by love and affection, were also crying. They all had tears streaming down their faces. They looked around and started searching for Nanda-Nandana. There, the grasshopper reached up to ten yojanas in the sky. The child Krishna was on his shoulder. His body seemed to him as heavy as Mount Sumeru. He started to feel a lot of pain. Then the demon tried to knock Krishna down there. Knowing this, the Supreme Lord Himself took hold of his throat. Let go of the nocturnal, let go. When the wonderful child, Krishna, said this, he strangled him violently, scattering his soul. Light came out of his body and merged with Ghanshyam in the same way as lightning in a cloud. Then the demon's body fell from the sky onto a rock with the child. As soon as he fell, his boat was scattered. All directions echoed with the blast of the fall, the globe began to shake. At that time, all the weeping gopis saw the child Krishna sitting quietly on the back of the demon together and ran to pick him up. Then she gave it to her mother Yashoda and began to speak. . 25-37 | (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
The Gopis said, "Yashode! You have absolutely no ability to raise a child. It makes you feel bad; but the truth is, you have never been shown mercy. This is how someone separates their baby from the cradle when it gets dark. You are so callous that you put the child on the ground even during such a great fear? . 38-39 |
Yashodaji said, "Sisters! I don't understand why my saliva started looking heavy like Giriraj's at that time; that's why I took it off the dock and placed it on the ground even in that great storm. . 40.
The gopis began to say, "Yashodaji! Let it be, and do not lie. Kalyani! There is not the slightest bit of compassion in your heart. This lactating baby is as light as flowers and cotton. 41.
All the gopas and gopis, like the Nandas, were very happy when the child Krishna came home, says Srinardji. They all began to talk about his skills with the people. Yashodaji picked up the child, Krishna, and asked Rohini to subdue him by repeatedly breastfeeding, sniffing his head, and hiding it in his chest. 42-43 | (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
Shriyashodaji said - Sister! God has given me this one son, I do not have many sons; even this one son is subject to many evils in an instant. Today, it has survived the face of death. What could be more outrageous than this? So what should I do now, where should I go and where else should I make arrangements to stay? Wealth, body, house, attic, and a variety of gems - above all, it is the only thing that matters to me that this child of mine should live well. If this child of mine is victorious over the demons, I will worship Lord Srihariki, do charity and yajna; build Tadagvapi, etc. and let hundreds of temples be built. Dear Rohini! As the stick is the support for the blind, so is all my happiness from this child. So, my sister! Now I will take my saliva to a place where there is no fear. 44-48. .
Srinardji says - Rajan! At the same time, many learned Brahmins arrived at the Nanda temple and took their seats. They were all ritually worshipped by Nanda and Yashodaji. 49.
The Brahmins said, "Vrajapati Nandaji and Vrajeshwari Yashode!" Don't you worry. We will protect this child's armor from the Adi, so that it may live long. 50.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Those eminent Brahmins performed Agni Puja by performing ritualistic sacrifices by Kushagras, Nutan Pallavas, holy Kalashas, pure water and hymns of Rik, Yajur and Samaveda and excellent Swastivachana etc. He then ceremoniously protected the child Krishna (reciting the below-mentioned shield for protection). 51-52 |
The Brahmins said, "May Lord Damodar protect your feet." May Vistarashrava protect the knees, Śrīvishnu-thighs, and Thy umbilical cord, the most perfect Lord Krishna Himself. May Lord Radhavallabha protect your loins and belly. - May Lord Padmanabha protect Hridayeshki, Govardhandhari arm, Mathuradhishwara head and Dwarkanath head. - Protect Lord Peeth, the destroyer of demons, and may Lord Govinda protect you from all sides. A person who recites this hymn with three verses continuously will attain supreme bliss and will not have to face fear anywhere. 53-56. . (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
Subsequently, Nanda gave the Brahmins a hundred thousand cows, a million gold coins, a thousand new jewels, and a hundred thousand fine clothes, states Srinardji. Upon the departure of the noble Brahmins, Nandaji invited the gopas and provided them with food and welcomed them with beautiful clothes and ornaments. . 57-58 |
Sri Bahulasva asked, "Munna! What virtuous man was this grasshopper in his first birth, who was absorbed directly into the most perfect Lord Krishna? . 59.
Srinardji said, "Rajan! In the Pandyas, there was a king known as Sahasraksha. His fame was all over the place. He had great faith in the god Vishnu. They were interested in the religion. He had a great passion for sacrifice and charity. One day they went to the divine banks of the Rewa (Narmada) river. The vines and cane adorned the shoreline. There he wandered, experiencing bliss with thousands of women. At the same time, Durvasa Muni himself made his debut there. When the king did not greet him, the sage cursed - 'Wise! You will become a monster. Then King Sahastraksha fell at the feet of Durvasa. The sage then granted him a boon - 'Rajan! You will be liberated by the touch of the idol of Lord Krishna. " 60 - 63.
Says Srinardji - Rajan. It was they who, under the curse of King Sahastraksha Durvasa, created a demon on the earth called "Grasshopper." The touch of the divine deity of Lord Krishna granted him the supreme salvation (Golokdham). 64. (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
