The union of Sri Krishna and his sixteen thousand queens with Sriradha and Gopanganas in the context of the glory of Siddhasrama
Naradji says - Mahamate Vidhehraj! Now listen to the significance of Siddhasrama, the remembrance of which removes all sins. The Tirtha whose mere touch never separates from Sriharis is called 'Siddhashrama' by the Puranic Purushas. The one who is salokya by darshan, nearer by touch, in whom bathing is akin to ablution, and where abiding leads to the attainment of salvation is known as Siddhasrama. 1-3.
Once upon a time, on hearing the significance of Siddhasrama Tirtha from Chadranana Sakhi, Sriradhana, distressed by the departure of Lord Krishna, thought of bathing in it. In the month of Vaisakh, on the occasion of the solar eclipse, Sriradhana decided to embark on a pilgrimage to Siddhashrama Tirtha from Kadali-van and proceed there with a hundred youths of Gopanganas and all the Gopagana. A hundred years had passed since the curse of Sridama brought on Sri Krishna. Sriradhika was initiated into the Shivika. Umbrellas began to be hung over them. Thus she went to Sati Shriradha Anarta-Deshika Mahatirtha Siddhasrama. 4 - 7. .
The Lord said, "It is Kirtinandini Sriradha, the daughter of Vrishabhanu, who is the presiding deity of the entire Vraja, the lord of the Gopanganas, and my soul." She has come from Vraja to bathe in Siddhasrama with the gopis. These Yadavs are haunted by their pride. This is their marvelous splendor. 14-15 |
Hearing this from Krishna, Bhamini Satyabhama, who took pride in her unique appearance and youthfulness, spoke softly among her step-children - 'Is Radha the Rupavati, I am not the Rupavati? In the past, many people asked for me. I have always been worshipped for my looks and generosity. Dear friends! It was because of my form that Shatadhanva died, Akrur and Kritavarma had to flee from Yadupuri. My father gave my dowry to Syamantakamani, who creates eight loads of gold every day, from which suffering like famine, pestilence, etc. automatically escapes, and whose worship cannot be replaced by serpents, pestilences, evils, and elusive people. From that hour on, all the wonderful splendor has appeared in my house too. I subdue Krishna with my great love, I travel with him on Garuda. I have seen with my own eyes the great battle that was fought with Bhoumasura at Pragjyotishpur. By my own grace, you all came to Dwarkapuri from Pragjyotishpur and became the wife of Lord Krishna, there is no doubt about it. Respecting my words, this Lord Krishna gave the umbrella to Indra. They offered both their kundals to Devmata Aditi with the desire to make her own beloved. The great Gajarajas, who were the property of Bhoumasur, who were born in the lineage of Airavata, were brought to Dwarakama by Mahatma Krishna by my own wish. It was because of me that Srihari also decided to have a great enmity with Devaraja Indra. The Vriksharaja Parijat on my doorstep is always decorated. I have subjugated Shri Krishna through my Pativrata Dharma. I had donated all the materials along with Naradji's hand to Shri Krishna. No woman can have the same glory and splendor as I do. No woman has the same form and generosity as I do. Then what is the point of Radha? Is the beauty of Rukmini, whose form Chediraja Shishupala Adi had waged a war with Krishna on the battlefield, inferior to anyone else? Beautifully browed sister Rukmini! Why are you not being polite? Dear friends! Radha is the daughter of a Gopi and you are all princesses; all blessed and respected and the best of human women. " 16-29 | (Dwarkand Chapter 16 to 22)
Mithileshwar! When Satyabhama said this, all the great queens like Rukmini became human. They were all proud of their clan, skills, manners, wealth, appearance and youth. All eight of them spoke to Lord Krishna, who respected them all. 30-31 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Then Lord Krishna, surrounded by Patranis saying 'Tathastu', went to have darshan of Sri Radha with sixteen thousand queens. In the delightful camp of gold - adorned with flagpoles and the beautiful Chandowa stem that defied the beauty of the moon - the camp was covered with a curtain adorned with pearls and a beautiful bed of clean clothes; where the fragrance of Malati's nectar and perfume was all over the place, and because of that, where the sweet murmurs were echoing - sat Patrani Sriradha, whose heart had been stolen by Lord Krishna, and whom the sakhis served by stirring white and divine dishes like swans. Some sakhis had umbrellas drawn over them, some sakhis were swinging with a swinging string, and some were seen moving around. The kantiman kundal resembling a ballarike flashed in Sriradha's ears. Her charm was further enhanced by her wearing an electrically illuminated garland. Their limbs radiated light similar to that of the moons. She was bisexual and bisexual. She was gently placing the delicate Charanarvinda on the flower-covered, graceful ground from the front of her beautiful toes. 34-40 | (Dwarkand Chapter 16 to 22)
Your Majesty! Those thousand queens of Lord Krishna, who saw that Sriradha from a distance, were deeply enamoured and enchanted by her appearance. Their radiance caused their brightness to fade away, as did the stars at sunrise. The pride of form that they had was gone. All these queens began to say to one another, "Ah! Nowhere in the three worlds is there such a marvelous form. We saw their unique charms just as we had heard them. Thus, while talking to each other, the queens approached Shrikrishna. The eyes of the Gopangas and the princesses met each other. 41-44 |
Thus was completed the sixteenth chapter in the context of Siddhasrama-mahatmya in the Narada Bahulashva-samvada under the Dwarka Khanda in the Srigargha Samhita, titled 'The Philosophy of the Form of Sri Radha'. 16.
