English translation

Shri Yamuna Kavach

Mandhata said - Mahabhagya! Preach to me the purest armour of the Yamuna, the path of Lord Krishna, and I will bear it always. 1.

Saubhari said, "Your Majesty the King! The armour of Yamuna Ji is the protector of humans in every way and directly gives the four substances, you hear it - Yamuna Ji has four arms. He is Shyama (dark complexion and of sixteen years of age). Their eyes are as large and beautiful as a bright lotus. She is the most beautiful and sits on the divine chariot. Meditate on them in this way and wear armor. 2-3 | (Madhurikand Chapter 12 to 18)

After bathing, face east, sit silently on the kushasana, and after tying the Shikha with the kushas and offering the Sandhya Vandana, the Brahmana (or Dwijamatra) should recite the Kavach, standing on the swastikasana. May 'Yamuna' protect my head and 'Krishna' always both eyes. Protect the 'Shyama' eyebrow-deshki and 'Nakavasini' nostrils. May 'Saat Paramananda Rupini' protect both my foreheads. May 'Krishnavaasa Sambhuta' (the goddess who appeared from the left shoulder of Lord Krishna) protect both my ears. Protect the 'Kalindi' chin and 'Suryakanya' chin. May 'Yamaswasa "(Yamaraja's sister) protect my cervix and' Mahanadi" my heart. May 'Krishnapriya' protect both the back-parts and 'Tatini' protect my arms. May 'Sushroni' protect the pelvis (buttocks) and 'Charudarshana' protect my lumbar region. May 'Rambhoru' protect both the thighs (thighs) and 'Anghribhedini' protect both my knees. Endure the 'raseshwari' of the gulphons (knees) and the 'papapaharini' of the ankles. Protect me from all sides, inside and out, down and up, in directions and in directions. 4-10 | (Madhurikand Chapter 12 to 18)

This is the supreme miraculous armour of Shriyamunaka. The one who recites it ten times with devotion becomes rich, even the poor. The wise man who recites it for three months, consuming a limited diet in observance of celibacy, will no doubt attain the dominion of all the kingdoms. Whoever recites it one hundred and ten times every day with devotion and purity of mind in the three months of Avadhika, will not get what? Whoever wakes up in the morning and recites it will get the fruits of bathing in all the pilgrimages and at the end, he will go to the heavenly abode of yogidharma. 11-14 |

Thus was completed the sixteenth chapter, 'Yamuna-Kavach', in the dialogue of Srisaubhari Mandhata under Madhuryakanda in the Srigargha Samhita. 16.
