Pradyumna's worship and praise by Bhadrasravaka in Bhadrasvavarsha; the Yadava army's march on Chandravati Puri; the killing of Hiranyaksha's son Hrishta by Srikrishna Kumar Vrikke.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Mahabahu Srikrishna Kumar Pradyumna then conquered the entire Ketumalvarsha, took the bow, and went to the yogic-rich 'Bhadrashvavarsha', whose border mountain 'Gandhamadana' is very beautiful, from where the Papanasini Ganga flows with the name 'Sita'. There is a Mahatirtha called Sarvapapanaśaka 'Veda Kshetra', where Mahabahu Hayagriva Harika resides. Dharmaputra Bhadrasrava serves him. 1-3.
The camps of Mahatma Pradyumna's army fell on the bridge of Sita-Ganga, which looked very beautiful because of its golden clothes. Dharmaputra Mahabali Mahatama Bhadrasrava, the ruler of Bhadrasva country, circumambulated with devotion and paid obeisance to Shri Krishna Kumar and made offerings to him. Then he spoke to them. 4-5.
The elder brother said, "O Lord! You are the true Absolute God. It is for the protection of the purushas that the sadhus set out for the victory. Oh my goodness! You had defeated a demon named Shambhar in the past. His younger brother, Utkacha, was a very wicked man who had gone on a hunger strike in Gokul. He was killed by Lord Srikrishnachandra; but his elder brother Mahadushta Balavan Shakuni is still alive. Oh God! He deserves to be defeated by you, no one else can ever conquer him. 6-8 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 31 to 35)
Pradyumna asked, "Dharmanandana! In whose lineage is the demon king Shakuni born, in which city does he reside, and what is his strength? 9.
The elder brother said, "Oh my God! Two primordial beings emerged from the womb of Diti by sage Kashyapa, the elder named Hiranyakashipu and the younger named Hiranyaksha. Hiranyaksha also had nine sons named Shakuni, Shambara, Hrishta, Bhoota-Santapana, Vrika, Kalanabha, Mahanabha, Harishmashru, and Utkacha. To the south of Devakuta in the Jatharagiriki Terai is a Puri named Chandravati, adorned with fortresses of daityas. It is there that Shakuni, surrounded by six brothers, resides. Yudduttam! Whenever the sage initiates the yajna, he breaks their yajna. Devotees of God! Even the gods and goddesses like Indra have become agitated by this. Oh God! That treacherous demon king deserves to be conquered by you, for you have conquered the whole world for the peace of the devotees. You are salutations to Lord Pradyumna. The fourfold form is your salutation. Salutations to you, cow, Brahmin, deity, sage and preserver of the Vedas. 10-17 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Upon praying in this way, Lord Pradyumna Hari directly blessed King Bhadrasrava by saying, "Do not be afraid." Mahabahu Pradyumna then set out immediately from there to reach Chadravathipuri with his army. Shakuniko got the news from my mouth that 'Yadukulatilaka Pradyumna is coming to kill you. Hearing this, the demon king raised his staff in the assembly of the demons. 18-20 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Hearing the ominous sound, the demon Mahabali, accompanied by an army of ten million demons, came to battle against the Yadava army. Lord Pradyumna, who assumed a human body out of greed, created the Grihadruvayu of his entire army, that is, standing his army in the shape of a Grihadru. The archer Shiromani Aniruddha stood in the beak position in the groin, Arjuna in the cervix and Jambavati Kumar Samba in the back. The king! In place of the two legs stood Deeptiman and Gada, with Parshin in the abdomen and Srikrishnakumar Bhanu in the tail. 24-27 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 31 to 35)
O Lord! On the banks of the Sita Ganga, the Yadavas fought a fierce battle with the daityas, as if the seas were colliding with the seas. Just as the clouds showered torrents of water, the demons showered the Yadavas with arrows, trishuls, musals, muggers, tomars, and sages. The king! The immense dust that flew from the feet of the armies covered the sun and the sky. He would not even show his arrow to anyone. The situation was similar at that time as rain clouds covered the sun and spread darkness. 28-30 |
These ten sons of Vrika, Harsha, Anil, Grudra, Vardhana, Unnada, Mahasha, Pavana, Yami, and Tenth Anushadhi - Mitra Vrinda - started fighting with the demons. When darkness fell from the arrows, Mr. Hari Kumar Vrik came forward, repeatedly bows and arrows. They began to scatter demons with arrows, as if one were to cut off friendships with bitterness. They crushed the elephants, chariots, and foot soldiers of the daitya-sena. They fell into the battlefield with their armour and bow cut off. 31-34 |
Those whose feet were cut off by kidney arrows fell to the ground like uprooted trees in a storm. Some had their faces down and some had their faces up. The king! They were adorned with heaps of broken utensils in the battlefield due to the dismemberment of the arms from the arrows. In that battlefield, elephants were crushed by arrows and looked like pieces of silk cut with knives. 35-36 |
It was at this time that Mahabali ascended the East Lion. He shot ten arrows and cut off the kidney shell and the arrowhead. Then the flag was broken with four arrows, four horses with two arrows, and the chariot with three arrows. Then with twenty arrows, the demon king destroyed the chariot of Vrika. The bow was cut off, the horse and charioteer were killed, then Vrika got into another chariot and took the bow in anger. In the meantime, the demon Hrishta also cut off the bow of the kidney! Yadavpungav Vrinda then took the mace and struck the lion on its head and also the daitya sitting on its back. Filled with fury, the lion then jumped into the battlefield and killed many warriors with his claws, teeth, and claws. His tongue was twinkling, the earrings were shining. He made a loud noise and knocked down the kidneys as an elephant would knock down a banana stem. 37-43 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 31 to 35)
O Lord! Kidney caught the lion with both hands and threw it to the earth. Then they climbed on top of him and roared as if a wrestler had knocked another wrestler over his chest and roared. When the lion leaped again and began to chew on his body forcefully, the valiant Mitravrandakumar gave him a punch. His boxer Marse Singh succumbed to his injuries. Enraged, Hrishta, the demon king, hurled a spear at them quickly. But the colossus, as bright as a very heavy meteor, was torn to pieces by the kidneys with a sword, just as Garuda had torn a serpent to pieces with his sharp beak. Hrishta also roared with his sword, and shaking the ground, he struck Mahabali's kidney on the head with it. The mighty kidneys then stopped the demon's stroke on the blade of the sword and struck the demon's shoulder with their swords. The demon's head was cut off by the sword and fell to the earth. The head was adorned with a crown and a kundalasa, resembling a fallen kamandal. 44-50 |
Your Majesty! After Hrishta was killed, the rest of the daityas fled in terror to Chandravatipuri. At that time the murmurs of the gods and men were heard, and the gods began to shower flowers on the kidneys. 51-52 |
Thus was completed the thirty-second chapter in the Narada Bahulashva-Samvad under the Vishwajit Khanda in the Srigargha Samhita, titled 'The Slaying of Hrishta Daitya'. 32.
