English translation
The invasion of Mathura by Jarasandha and Kalayavana; the Lord's departure from the war to a cave and the burning of the Kalayavana there by the sight of Muchukunda; the sending of Muchukunda to Badarikashrama with a boon and the extermination of Mlechha-Sena himself, the escape from Jarasandha's presence, the arrival of Sri Krishna-Balarama at Dwarka via Pravarshnagiri, and the return of Jarasandha to Magadha by burning that mountain.
Naradji says - Rajan! Jarasandha, again with the same Aksauhini force, soon came to war with the Yadavas; but was again defeated by Krishna. Through the influence of Krishna, all the Yadavas attained prosperity. He always had the courage to plunder enemies with the force of bows and elephants. 1-2.
The king! When dared, Balak and Paniharini also began to kidnap enemy property without a fight. Seeing the opportunity to kidnap the enemy's substance, all the citizens of Mathura, who bought clothes, were very happy. Thus Jarasandha was defeated by causing his army to be annihilated seventeen times. Eighteen times after that, he also considered going to war. At this time, at my instigation, Mahabali Kalayavan, accompanied by an army of ten million men, angrily laid siege to Mathura. Seeing the army of Mlechchas, fearing their city, thinking of the fear coming from both sides - Krishna became worried with Balarama. 3-7 | (Dwarkand Chapter 1 to 5)
To protect his homosexuals, Madhava built the Dwarka Fort in a single night within the roaring sea, where the siddhis of the eight Dikpalas, the Vishwakarmas, are built, and the seekers of salvation have a vision of all the wealth of Vaikuntha. Mithileshwar! With the yogic energy of Srihari, he led the entire entourage to Dwaraka fort and left Mathura without any weapons at the behest of Balramji. According to the identity I had given, the evil Kalayavan recognized Sriharika and, seeing him without weapons, even himself gave up weapons and came on foot to fight him. They withdrew from the war and started to flee. To capture the Sriharikas, who are also rare to yogis, he set out in pursuit of his soldiers. 8-12 |
Madhav ran away, showing his body with only one hand forward, and soon entered Shyamalachalki Kandara. Muchukunda, the eldest son of Mandhata, used to sleep in that cave. They protected the gods from the demons in the past. O Lord! He was unable to sleep day and night because of his readiness to defend Devasena at that time. When the task was accomplished, all the gods were pleased and spoke to the Supreme Being. 13-15 |
The king! Ask for what is on your mind as a gift. "Then Rajendra Muchukundane bowed to the gods and said to them - 'I want to sleep well. When I wake up, I have a direct darshan of Sriharika. The unconscious man who wakes me up in the middle will immediately burn me to ashes as soon as I see him. The gods called him 'Tathastu' and gave him his desired boon. Then King Muchukunda slept in the former Satya Yuga. 16-18 | (Dwarkand Chapter 1 to 5)
Kalayavana followed the god into the cave and, mistaking Muchukunda for Krishna sleeping with Pitambara on his back, was immediately kicked by the mighty Yavana in a fit of rage. Muchukunda suddenly stood up and slowly opened his eyes and looked around. At that moment, Kaalayavan appeared to him standing nearby. Maithil! As soon as the king's gaze filled with fury, Kalayavan was immediately consumed by the flames of fire emanating from his own body. 19-21 |
When Yavana was incinerated, the Supreme Personality of Godhead gave the wise Muchukunda a vision of his form. The celestial Gods stood, shining like millions of suns. Their heads were illuminated by crowns, their ears by kundals, their arms by angads, and their feet by nupurs. His chest was adorned with the emblem of Srivatsa. He was endowed with four arms. His eyes were as large as a bright lotus, and a garland of flowers hung around his neck. They were embarrassing millions of Kamadevas with their elegance. His gaze was as dark as a dark cloud. Seeing him, the king stood up in ecstasy and bowed with devotion, knowing him to be the most perfect God with folded hands. 22-25 |
Muchukunda said, "I bow repeatedly to Govinda, the son of Vasudevaputra and Devakinandana, who is the son of Shrinandagopaka." The Lord, whose navel is the origin of the cosmic lotus, adorned with lotus garlands, whose eyes are as vast as the resplendent lotus, and whose feet also despise the lotus with their grace, is repeatedly saluted. A pure Buddha is a salutation to the Supreme Brahman, Lord Krishna. Recurring salutations are offered to Govinda, the Destroyer of the sufferings of the souls. Salutations to Lord Krishna, the Eternal Person, who has thousands of idols, who holds thousands of feet, eyes, head, thighs and arms, who has thousands of names and who holds thousands of ages. Green. There is no sinner on this earth like me and there is no one else as sinful as you - knowing this Jagannath Dev! Have mercy on me as you wish. 26-30 | (Dwarkand Chapter 1 to 5)
Naradji says - Rajan! Thus, having received the command of Srihariki, and having again praised, saluted, and circumambulated him, Muchukunda, bowing down and filled with the love of Sri Krishna, came out of that cave fort. In Dwapara, men with small figures would run around in terror on the way on seeing the many palm-tall king Muchukunda. 'Don't be afraid! Don't be afraid! Thus, giving refuge, Muchukund went in a northward direction. Thus, by bestowing a boon on the wise Machukunda, the Lord again came to Mathura surrounded by the Mlechchas and forcibly took away his wealth by destroying all the Mlechchas. 35-38 |
Then King Jarasandha, with the thought of fighting again in mind, summoned the Magadha Brahmins who told him the muhurta and said, 'If I return after conquering Vasudeva, I will always worship you under your command.' Until then, O Brahmins! May you stay in my prison. If I am defeated, I will kill you all, no doubt. " 39-41 |
Having said this to the Brahmins, the Mahabali king Jarasandha quickly arrived in Mathura with an army of twenty-three Akshauhins. To make the Magadha Brahmins speak the truth, Bhagavan gave up his support and, adopting human-like behavior, fled his city with great force on foot, as did the gods Balarama and Krishna, who were terrified. Seeing them running away, Magadha Raja started laughing. He followed the Brahmins with a chariot army, remembering their words. The two brothers reached Pravarshana Giri on their way south to Srihari. Hiding the two of them on the same mountain, Jarasandhan burned wood and set fire to the forest there. After the entire forest of Pravarshana Giri was reduced to ashes, they jumped from the eleven yojana-high peak of the burning mountain and reached Dwarakama, oblivious to the two divine enemies. Mahabali's hero Magadharaja returned to Magadha after administering his victory to both of them. 42-48 | (Dwarkand Chapter 1 to 5)
O Lord! He worshipped Brahmins with great devotion and said - 'How can a Brahmin whose helper is defeated! '. 49.
Thus was completed the second chapter in the Narada Bahulashva-samvada under the Dwarka Khanda in the Srigarghasamhita, called the 'Dwarkavasa-vatana'. 2.
