English translation
Protection of the Yadava army from vulture attacks on the use of the Garudastra by Pradyumna; conquest of Dasarnadesa and ascension at Dasarnamochana Tirtha.
Srinardji says - Rajan! The block called Harivarsha is full of treasures. Mithileshwar! Its border is directly across the Nishadh mountain. As the sound of the cacophony of the heroes swept through the wilderness, birds like Mahagudra and Garuda, each with a long body and a sharp beak, flew by. O Lord! They all had long lives and were hungry. They also began to cultivate Yadava soldiers, elephants, and horses. The sky was filled with an array of birds. The wind in their wings blew like a storm. Darkness fell upon the army, and there was a great commotion. 1 - 4.
The Garuda Shastra was consecrated by the great sage Srikrishna Kumar Pradyumna. With that weapon, Garuda, the king of birds, appeared directly. Arriving at the darkened army, Pakshiraja shot down several vultures, kulings, and eagles with his beak and bright wings. They lost their pride, their wings were cut off, and all the birds fled in ten directions, terrified of the eagle. 5-7 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 26 to 30)
Subsequently, Mahabahu Srikrishna Kumar went to the Dasarna district. King Shubhanga of the Dasarna country was a Suryavanshi Kshatriya. In battle, their force was reduced to ten thousand elephants. He was the ruler of Nishkoshambipuri. Hearing of Pradyumna's fierce masculinity from Vedavyasa, they had come across the river Dasharna. Shubhang bowed his head with a crown with folded hands and presented the finest jewels to Mahatma Pradyumna. This is how Lord Pradyumna, the all-pervading and omniscient all-pervading God, asked Shubhanga with a desire for a people's collection. 8-12 |
Pradyumna said, "O lord king of Nishkoushambipuri! Why is this country called 'Dasarna'? Tell me whose name it is named after. 13.
Nrusingha said, "Son! You are my silent devotee, yet your father has been slain by me; therefore, O Lord. I will not kill any more of your descendants. 15.
Shubhang says - Rukmininandan! While saying this, drops of joyous water fell from both the eyes of Lord Nrusingha to the earth. From those points, the 'Mangalayan Sarovar' appeared. Then Prahlada, the boon-seeker, said to Lord Nrusingha with folded hands. 16-17 |
Prahlada said, "O God, the sustainer of devotees! I didn't serve the parents; so how will I get out of their debt? . 18.
Nrusingha said, "Great fortune! Mayst thou bathe in this mangalayan tirtha manifested by the tears of my eyes. This will get you out of ten types of debt. The debt of the mother, father, wife, son, guru, deity, Brahmin, ascetic, sage and ancestor is called 'Dasarna'. There is no doubt that one who takes a bath in this Mahatirtha will get rid of ten types of debts even if he is willing to defy everyone. 19-21 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Hearing this, Lord Pradyumna, along with all the parikas, bathed and donated at the Dasharnamochana Tirtha. O Lord! Whoever hears the story of Dasarna-Moksha will be free from ten debts and will be part of Moksha. 24-25 |
