English translation
Acrour's realization of Lord Krishna's Parabrahma form and his praise: Sri Krishna's visit to Puri with gwalbals, the city women's fascination with him, and the salvation of a Rajaka from the Lord's hand
Says Srinardji - Rajan. After reaching near the grove of Madhura with Akrur and Balramji, stopping the chariot near Yamuna, Lord Krishna got down and again came back to the chariot after drinking Yamuna water. Akrurji then went to bathe in the Yamuna river at the behest of the two brothers and descended into the crystal-clear waters of the Yamuna to perform the ritual. The water of the Yamuna was shallow, with large whirlpools rising in it. Akrurji saw both brothers Balarama and Krishna talking to each other while standing in the same water. O Lord! Seeing this, Akrurji was amazed and went to the chariot and saw both of them sitting there too. Then he went into the water and saw visions there as well. Balramji Nagaraj was seated with a horoscope in the form of Shesh, and his godowns reflected the illuminated Golok, Govardhan Parvat, Yamuna River, the enchanting Vrindavan, and the impressive mandala of innumerable sun rays - respectively. In the same Jyotirmandala, the most perfect Purushottama Sri Krishna, who despised the beauty and sweetness of all the Kamadevas within the Rasamandala, appeared there in the sight of Akrura, accompanied by Sri Radharani. Then, realizing that Krishna was the Supreme Brahman, Akrurana saluted him repeatedly and with folded hands, began to praise him with great joy. 1-8 | (Mathurukhand Chapter 1 to 5)
Akrur said - Salutations to the most perfect Lord Shrikrushna Chandra, the Lord of innumerable universes and the Lord of Golokdham. O Lord! You are the Pranavallabha of Sriradha and the Supreme Lord of Vraja, greetings to you again and again. Salutations to Sriharika, who bestows bliss on Sri Nandanandan and Mata Yashoda. Son of God! Govinda! Vasudeva! Jagadeeswar! Yadukulatilak! Jagannath. Purushottam! Hello there. May my voice always be engaged in describing your virtues. May my ears keep listening to your story. May my arms be engaged in action for your happiness. May the mind always contemplate your feet and may both eyes be engaged in the darshan of your bright and grand abode. 9-12 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Just as Akrurji was glorifying the Lord in this way, amazed, Lord Krishna disappeared with his people. Then, after saluting him and completing the ritual, Akrura came on the chariot in awe, knowing that Krishna was the Supreme Brahman. Akrur transported Balarama and Krishna to Mathura as the day wore on, using the wind-powered chariot that made the most serious sound. There, in the garden of the city, on seeing Nandaraja, Yaduttam Lord Krishna smiled and spoke in a serious voice like a cloud to Akrurji. 13-16 |
The Lord said, "Honorable! Now arrive at Mathurapuri in your chariot. I'm going to come back with braided hair. 17.
Akrur said, "O God! Jagannath! Govinda! Purushottam. O Lord! Come to my house with your elder brother and your daughters-in-law. O People of the World! Sanctify my house today with the dust of your feet. I will not go to my house without taking you with me. 18-19 |
The Lord said, "Akrurji! I will surely come to your house and cherish you with Balaramji and Gopa-Bandhu after killing Kansa, the enemy of the Yadu dynasty. 20.
Naradji says - Rajan! Lord Krishna stayed there and Akrur entered Mathurapuri. There Kansa gave the news of the arrival of Lord Krishna and went to his home. The next day, Nandana said this while looking at Govinda, who was about to see Mathurapuri with Balarama and the cowherd children. 21-22 |
On hearing the news of Vasudevananda Krishna's arrival, the women of Mathurapuri, who had heard much about him, ran to see him, leaving behind all the chores and even the babies, as if the rivers were running towards the sea. Some women watched from the roofs of palaces, some from the holes in the windows, some from the walls, some from the curtains on the windows, and some from the doors and windows of the houses. One of Lord Krishna's chunky kuntala was hanging on his face as if he had worn it to capture the minds of the men in front of him, and the other kuntala was pressed under the crown and hung backwards, as if he had worn it backwards to captivate the minds of those who came from behind. Half of them shone brightly, bound at the waist, and half shone with lightning in a blue cloud over their shoulders. The king! He wore a lotus in one of his hands and a Vyjayanthi garland in his thorax. Wearing a new Makara-shaped kundal in her ears and armbands adorned with shimmering gold bracelets resembling a child-sun, all the old women were captivated by the sight of Lord Vasudevananda Krishna, the Supreme Lord, the Lord of innumerable celestial bodies. 28-32 |
The women of the city said, "Ah! How beautiful is that Vrindavan, where these Nandanandans themselves reside. Blessed are all the Gopas who visit their enchanting form every day. Those Gopanganas are also blessed - they do not know what good they have done, they repeatedly drink their Adhramrita in the colour of Rasa. 33-34 |
Naradji says - Rajan! A cloth dyeer, Rajak, was going on that highway. He seemed to be very arrogant and manic. With permission from the Gualbals, Madhusudana said to him - 'My great-wise friend! Give us beautiful clothes; there is no doubt that if you give, you will have the greatest welfare. 'He was a servant of Rajaka Kansaka and a great wicked one. Hearing Krishna's words, he, like Agri, anointed with ghee, ignited with great fury and spoke thus to Madhava on that highway. 35-37 | (Mathurukund Chapter 1 to 5)
Rajak said, "Oh! Did your forefathers wear similar clothes? Have a great day! Were your ancestors not cowherd men? The dwarves that live in the forest! If you want life, get out of all your cities quickly; or else I will put all of you who steal clothes in jail. 38-39 |
Rajak said, "Oh! Did your forefathers wear similar clothes? Have a great day! Were your ancestors not cowherd men? The dwarves that live in the forest! If you want life, get out of all your cities quickly; or else I will put all of you who steal clothes in jail. 38-39 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Yadukula-Tilaka Krishna playfully twisted the head of the king who spoke such things from the front of his hand. Woe to you! The light of his body was absorbed by Ghanshyam into Shri Krishna. The king! Then all the servants who followed him fled, leaving behind piles of clothes, just as the clouds were scattered by the wind in the autumn. When Balarama and Krishna stood up with the clothes of their choice from those clothes, the remaining clothes were taken away by the Gualbals and other passers-by. Gualbal did not know how to wear those clothes; therefore, looking at Balarama and Krishna, he began to wear those beautiful clothes haphazardly. At the same time, a balcony saw the two brothers and made them wear strange colored clothes and made them divine incarnations of Lord Krishna and Baldev. The king! Similarly, the other Gopa children were also properly clothed and he had a darshan of Lord Krishna again with great devotion. May the Lord be pleased with the child and bestow upon him His likeness and may Baldevji also bestow upon him strength, Lakshmi, and prosperity again. 40-46 |
