Description of Leela-Sarovara, Harimandir, Jnanatirtha, Krishna Kunda, Balabhadra Sarovara, Danatirtha, Ganapatitirtha and Mayatirtha etc.
Srinardji says - Rajan! The Dwaravati-Mandala hundred plan is extensive. Its total circumference is four hundred yojanas. The fort built by Lord Krishna in the middle of it is twelve yojanas wide. The second outer fort is built by Mahatma Krishna in ninety kosas, which is impregnable to enemies. The king. The third outer fortification is organized into two less than two hundred kosas, in which jewelled palaces were built. There are nine lakh odd temples of Mahatma Krishna in their inner fort as well. 1 - 4.
There is a 'Leela Sarovar' at the entrance of the Radha-temple, which is considered the best among all the tirthas. The king! He is said to have come from Golok. There is no doubt that a sinful person is also free from the sins committed by millions of births if he observes a fast and concentrates on it, gives the donation of gold on the Ashtami Tithi in a proper manner, and salutes the Tirtha. A giant plane, as bright as a thousand suns, surely comes from the galaxy to pick up the man when he dies. That man is as graceful as ten Kamadevas, adorned with jewelled coils, wearing a forest garland, covered with betel leaves, shyamkantiman, radiant as a thousand suns, and possessing a divine form served by thousands of councillors. Chavars are waved on either side of it, cheering and cheering, accompanied by the solemn sound of cymbals. In this state, he lands on that noble plane and goes to Golok Dham, no doubt. 5-10 | (Dwarkand Chapter 16 to 22)
Your Majesty the King! Now listen to the description of the other shrines! There are sixteen thousand and one hundred and eight tirthas and there are separate buildings of the same number of wives of Lord Krishna. By taking turns parikrama and vandana to all of them and diving into the 'Jnanateertha', one who touches the Parijata immediately attains knowledge, renunciation, and devotion. In his heart resides Lord Krishna, always full of joy. All accomplishments and prosperity are inherently present in his service. One who visits the Sriharike Temple becomes liberated and grateful. There is no other Vaishnavite like him and there is no other tirtha like that tirtha. 11-15 |
The expansion of the temple of God is five yojanas. A hundred bows away from there is the 'Shri Krishna Kund', revealed by the radiance of Lord Shri Krishna. Jambavatinandan Samba was cured of leprosy by bathing in the same pond. The sight of the tank alone absolves a person of all sins. 16-17 |
Maithil! Eighteen steps from there in the east direction is the excellent, virtuous and vast 'Balabhadra-Sarovar' among all the Tirthas. Mahabali Baldevji circumambulated the earth and performed a yajna, built the Sarovar, and sat with Revati Rani. By bathing in it, a person becomes immediately free from all sins. The fruits of the earth's rotation do not remain rare to him. 18-20 | Rajan! A thousand bows ahead of the Lord's temple is the great shrine of Gananatha in the southern direction. The king! Gananatha is the 'tirtha' where Rukmini performed the Ganesh-worship ritual after giving birth to her son Pradyumna, when he was kidnapped before ten days had passed. Oh dear God! The one who bathes there and donates gold receives a son, and his lineage grows. 21-23 | (Dwarkand Chapter 16 to 22)
The king! Two hundred bows to the west of the Lord's temple is the most auspicious' Danatirtha '. There, one who makes a daily donation for the happiness of Lord Krishna is a partaker of the supreme virtue. The kingdom of Videha. Listen to the description of the meritorious reward received by the best human being after bathing in that tirth, who donates two pieces of gold, eight pieces of silver, and a hundred pieces of silk, and donates thousands of seals and jewels. Even the Sahasra Ashvamedha and the hundred Rajasuya Yajnas cannot equal the sixteenth act of charity. There is no doubt that the fruits of bathing and giving in the journey to Utpalavarta Tirtha while in the zodiac sign of Taurus are a million times more fruitful than in the journey to Badarikashrama-Tirtha, the journey to Sandhavarnya when the sun is in the zodiac sign of Aries. But alas! There are many times as many fruits as there are in charity. Even Chitragupta does not have the knowledge of the infinite virtue that one attains by bathing for a month in a charity shrine. Even Chaturmukha Brahmaji is not able to convey the significance of that tirtha. Among all donations, Ashvadana is considered the best, with Gajadana being superior to Ashvadana and Rathadana being superior to Gajadana. The king. Bhoomidaan is said to be more important than chariot donation, and Annadaan is said to be more important than Bhoomidaan. There has not been any other donation like Annadana; for even the gods, sages, ancestors, and ghosts are satisfied with Annadana. The great human being who donates food to charity goes to the supreme abode of Lord Vishnu, free from all three debts. Rajendra! The man saves the ten generations of the Matrilineal family, the ten of the Pitrilineal family, and the ten generations of the wife's family. After sacrificing the human body, the donors in the charity pilgrimage go to the abode of Lord Vishnu in the form of Chaturbhuj Divine, hoisting the Garuda Flag, adorned with Vanamala and Pitambara. 24-38 |
The king! Half-way north of the Lord's temple is the enchanting 'Mayatirtha', where the lioness Bhadrakali Durga, the destroyer of Chand-Mundaka, resides daily. When Lord Krishna went to the cave of Raksharaja Jambavan to fetch Syamantakamani, Devaki worshipped this goddess Durga with the best fruits for the well-being of her son. It was under the influence of this puja that Lord Krishna left the temple and returned home with his beloved Jambavati and Mani. The same is the well-known 'Mayatirtha', which is supposed to bestow excellent fruits on servants. A person who worships Mayadevi by bathing in Mayatirtha attains complete bliss - there is no doubt about it. 39-43 |
Thus in the Narada Bahulashva Samvad under Dwarka Khanda in the Srigargha Samhita, the nineteenth chapter titled 'Description of the Mahatmya of Leela-Sarovar, Harimandir, Jnanatirtha, Krishna Kunda, Balabhadra Sarovar, Danatirtha, Ganapatitirtha and Mayatirtha' was completed within the first fort. 19.
