English translation
Lakshmi's Sakhis are born as virgins in the houses of the Vrishabhanus to please and receive Lord Krishna by fasting in the month of Magha.
Shrinaradji says - Mithileshwar! Now listen also to the description of the other Gopis, who are the takers of all sins, the benefactors, and the enhancers of devotion to Srihari. 1.
The king! The Vraja has produced six Vrishabhanus, named as Nitivita, Margada, Shuku, Kite, Divyavahana, and Gopeshta (who were nominally virtuous). The virgins born in his house by the boon of Lakshmipati Narayana were Rama-Vaikuntha-Vasini and Lakshmi-ji's companions born from the sea, some were Ajitapadasini and some were Upartha-Vaikuntha-loka-nivasini goddesses, some were Lokachala-Vasini Samudrasambhava-Lakshmi-patachariyas. He fasted in the month of Magha, always contemplating the feet of Shri Govinda. The purpose of the fast was to please Lord Krishna. On the fifth day of Shukupaksha in the month of Magha, the first day of the auspicious spring, Lord Krishna approached their house to test their love. He was dressed in tiger-skin clothes, wearing a crown of jewels, adorned in the guise of a yogi with vibrancy in all his limbs, playing the flute, captivating the hearts of the people of the world. Enchanted and in love with his good fortune in his streets, Gopanganas from all directions came to see the young yogi. Seeing that very beautiful yogi, all the Gopa girls, who were filled with love and joy, started talking to each other. 2 - 9.
The gopis said, "Who is this child, whose form is exactly like that of Nandanandana; or this must be the son of a rich king, who has been estranged from home and has left all his activities due to his wife's hard-hitting arrow." It is extremely delightful. How delicate is its body! It is as captivating to the world as Kamadeva. Ah yes. How would its mother, its father, its wife and its sister survive without it? Thinking this, swarms of people came to him from all directions and, amazed and amazed by their love, asked Yogishvara. 10-12 | (Madhurikand chapters 6 to 11)
The gopis asked - "Yogi baba! What's your name? Muniji! Where do u live? What is your vocation and what accomplishment have you achieved? The best of the speakers. Tell us all about it. 13.
Siddhayogi said - I am Yogesvara and always reside in Manasarovar. My name is Swayamprakash. I am always without food and drink by my own strength. Vrajangnao! I am going for the realization of the self-realization that is the self-realization of the Paramahamsa. I have attained to a transcendental vision. I know the past, the future and the present in all three tenses. I also know Upatana, Maran, Mohana, Sthambana and Vashikaran through Mantra-Vidya. 14-16 |
The gopis asked - "Yogi baba! You are a very intelligent person. If you know about all three times, tell me, what is on our minds? . 17.
Siddhayogi said, "This is what you can hear." Or, if you will, I will say it to all the people. 18.
The gopis said - Munna! You are truly a Yogeshvara. You have knowledge of all three tenses, no doubt about it. If they come here immediately after reciting your mantra of subjugation, which we contemplate with all our heart, then we will believe that you are the best of the magicians. 19-20 | (Madhurikand chapters 6 to 11)
The Siddhayogi said, "Vrajanganao! You have expressed an emotion that is extremely rare and difficult; yet I will reveal your chosen object, for the words of good men are not a lie. Ladies and gentlemen! Don't worry; close your eyes. Your work will surely be proven, there is no doubt about it. 21-22 |
Srinardji says - Rajan! When the gopis closed their eyes, saying 'very good', Lord Srihari left the form of Yogi and appeared as Sri Nandanandan. The gopis opened their eyes and saw Nandanandan Sanand smiling in front of them. At first, she was extremely surprised; then she was pleased to know the yogi's influence and was fascinated by the darling's charming appearance. Subsequently, in the Maharsa of the month of Magha, within the sacred Vrindavan, Srihari took a vihara with the Gopanganas, just as Devaraja Indra does with the Devanganas. 23-25 |
Thus, the Narada Bahulashva-Samvada under Madhuryakanda in the Srigarghasamhita completed the eleventh chapter titled Ramavaikuntha, Shwetadvipa, Upartha Vaikuntha, Ajitapada and the 'Narrative of the Appearance of Lakshmi's Sakhis as Gopis' residing in Srilokachal. 11.
