English translation

Grace on Sudama Mali and Kubja; the influence of the Madhura-Mohan form of Krishna on Dhanurbhanga and Mathura women

Srinardji says - Rajan! Nandanandan along with Gwalbals then went to the house of a gardener named Sri Krishna and Balarama Sudama, who made garlands of flowers. On seeing the two brothers, Mali stood up. He bowed with folded hands and sat on a throne of flowers and spoke in a loud voice. 1-2.

Naradji says - Rajan! Saying this, the gardener paid obeisance by invoking the beautiful garland made of flowers and nectar (perfume, phulail, etc.) sung by the murmurs of the Bhramaras. Lord Srihari, along with Balarama, also gave the flower zodiac sign to the nearby gopas, and with a smile, said to the gardener, "Sudaman! May there ever be solemn devotion to thee in my footsteps, may the company of my devotees be with thee, and may thou attain my form in this very birth. Subsequently, Baldevji also bestowed upon her the ever-growing Lakshmi in her lineage. The king! Then the two brothers got up and went to another street. There on the way was a maiden going to Kamini. He had a sandalwood paste pot in his hands. In condition, she was a young woman, but the body showed a hump. Madhava asked him. 5 - 9.

The Lord said, "Beautiful! Who are you and whose love are you? Who are you carrying this sandalwood for? Give this sandalwood to both of us, it will soon benefit you. 10.

Sairandhri boli - Sundara - Shiromani! I am the slave of Kansaki. Excellency! My name is Kubja. My hand-soaked sandalwood is very dear to Bhojraj Kans. Until now, I have been a slave in Kansaki, but now I am present before you. I am impressed by your sturdy armbands, which are like the trunk of an elephant. Who else but your two brothers is worthy of this sandalwood paste? Nowhere is Tribhuvan as beautiful as you two brothers. 11-13 |

Naradji says - Rajan! A cheerful murmur of relief filled the air for the two brothers. From that body, the two brothers - Balarama and Krishna - began to enjoy great beauty. Other children of the Vraja also received some of the divine sandalwood. The kubja was curved at three places. Krishna thought of straightening it immediately. The all-pervading God pressed the front of his feet with his feet, took hold of his chin with two fingers in his hand, and lifted his crooked body from three places in the sight of the people. Then she became, at the same time, a stick-like woman, full of great beauty, and despised even Rambha with her radiance. The spirit of lust arose in his heart, and behold, the beautiful woman with the purest smile said so, clutching the garment of Sriharika. 14-17 |

Sairandhri boli - Sundara Pravar! Come to my house now quickly; surely I will not be able to leave you. You are the knower of all minds; have mercy on me. Rasikeshwara! Honourable! You've blown my mind so quickly. 18.

Srinardji says - Rajan! Then all the goons said, 'Ah! What is this! 'They laughed and clapped as they said this to each other. Balramji was also watching all this with great interest. This is the best thing that Lord Srihari said when he prayed for the beauty to go to his home. 19.

The Lord said, "Ah! This Mathurapuri is extremely blessed, inhabited by gentle people who invite even unfamiliar passersby to their homes. The beauty I will go around and visit Puri and come to your house. 20.

Naradji says - Rajan! Saying this through affectionate speech, Lord Krishna pulled the end of his scarf from his hand and while proceeding on the highway, showed him some wealthy Vaishyas. Those best-in-class Vaishyas worshipped Sriharika with leaves, flowers, perfumes, milk, and fruits, placed her on an excellent pedestal, and paid obeisance at her feet. 21-22 |

Naradji says - Rajan! Then Achyuta, with a gentle smile, asked the Vaishyas, 'Who is the place of the bow? 'But those Vaishyas were very clever. They feared the bow would be broken, so they were not telling God where it was. But other Mathuravasis, who were fascinated by his form, qualities and sweetness, wished to show him the bow and said, 'Kumar! Come and see that bow. " 24-25 |

Then through the path shown by him, Krishna entered the bow and arrow. He also went on to establish friendships with his Mathura-based peers. The bow was painted with gold bells and boots. Its length was equal to that of seven palms. It looked like a rainbow. He was so heavy that five thousand men could carry him from one place to another all at once. It was made up of eight different metals. That hard bow was as heavy as a hundred thousand pounds and was installed in the Yajna Mandapa on Chaturdashi Tithi - worshipped by the priests. In the past, King Yadu was given the bow by Bhrigukulananda Parashurama. Madhava Krishna saw him; he appeared to be like Sheshnag, sitting with a horoscope. The people kept refusing, but Krishna stubbornly picked up the bow and playedfully threw it at the townspeople. 26-30 |

The king! Then Srihari pulled the bow to the thorn with his shoulder sticks and cut it in the middle just as the elephant breaks the reed stick. The bow's tank appeared to be a thunderbolt as it broke. This caused the entire universe, including the seven worlds and the seven underworlds, to reverberate, the giants were distracted, the stars began to break apart, the landmass trembled, and the people living on the earth were immediately deaf. That word tore Kansake's heart apart for two hours. The demons, who were guarding the bow, rose in fury and, wanting to capture Krishna, said to each other, "Take the bow." 'Witnessing them launch an armed attack, Balarama and Krishna took both the pieces of the bow and began to beat the evil demons with great speed. The bows and arrows struck so hard that many of the heroes were killed instantly, some with broken legs, some with broken nails, and many with broken shoulders and arms. In this way, five thousand demons slept lifelessly on the earth. The whole of Mathura was in a state of turmoil. Many people came running to see the event. The city was filled with chaos, and the people were filled with great fear. The canopy of the court of Bhojaraja Kansaka collapsed suddenly. 31-38 |

O Lord! Along with Gwalior and Balramji, Krishna approached Nandaraja from Dhanushala in the evening, as if he were terrified. The women of Mathurapuri were particularly captivated by the striking beauty of Govinda. Their clothes slipped, their knuckled tops loosened, their hearts ached with love, and they spoke to their friends in this way. 39-40 |

The women said, "Friends! With great haste, Srihari, the embodiment of crores of Kamadevas, has begun to roam freely in Mathurapuri, and he has become indistinguishable in all the limbs of women like us who have seen him. 41.

Some clever women said - Are there no cruel women in this Puri who stare at all the limbs of Anangamohana Krishna? Don't we all look up to that all-pervading, all-pervading Lord Krishna? Dear friend! Beauty appears in a single part of one's being and that is where our eyes break like a kite; but how can those who are omnipotent and charming be seen completely by the eye alone? Nandanandana's limb is beautiful; wherever she sees, she does not take the name of returning from there after attaining supreme bliss. They are oceans of beauty. It's like our hearts are sinking into it. 42-44 |

Mithileshwar! Women in the city who saw Vrajarajanandan during the day also saw him in their dreams. Then how can those Gopangans who performed Raslila with him in Rasmandal not constantly remember his melodious and charming form? 45.

Thus was completed the sixth chapter called 'Mathuradarshan' in the Narada Bahulashka Samvad under Srimathurakhanda in the Srigarghasamhita. 6.
