The slaying of Deeptimandara Mahanabha

Naradji says - Rajan! The fall of the demon Kalanabha caused a great uproar in the demon army. Then a demon named Mahanabha came to the battlefield on a camel. The elusive demon king started spewing fire from his mouth. From that fire ten directions were kindled, and the trees of the earth were burned. Your Majesty! The armor, the turban, the girdle, and the anklets of the heroes lit up like flowers (bhuadi) and cotton. The king! Many elephants, including yellow, red, white, black, painted, and miniature swings and Kashmiri carpets adorned with Hem gems, made of coastal towns, were burning like mountains with wildfire-burning trees in that battlefield. Burning horses with jewels, skins, necklaces, and golden ornaments worn on their heads would leap and quiver like wild deer on the battlefield. 1-6 | (Vishwajitkhand Chapter 36 to 40)

Disturbed by the terror of his army, Srikrishna Kumar Deeptiman used a live fire to douse the illusionary fire. Then out of the arrow appeared blue torrents like the clouds of the time of the Flood, and torrents of water began to pour down with a fierce roar. Your Majesty! From that stream, the rainy season appeared on the ground floor. Birds such as the male cuckoo, female cuckoo, peacock, and stork began to speak their sweet dialects. The frogs also started to make termites. Red-coloured swarms of insects called Indragop (Veerabhuti) began to flourish here and there. Maithilendra! The rainbow and the lightning made the sky appear brighter. 7-10 |

Thus, when the fire was extinguished, the great demon Mahanabhan drove his fiery trident in great fury on Deeptiman. Coming towards him like a serpent, Rohiniputra Deepti Mana cut the trident in the battlefield with a sword, just as Garuda cut a serpent into two pieces with his spear. Upset by the giant's vehicle, Kent proceeded to bite them to the teeth. Deeptiman then struck her on the battlefield with his sword. His neck was cut off by the sword and he fell to the ground in two pieces. The spirits of the canteen flew as the giants watched. Then the demon, Mahanabha, mounted an elephant with great speed and with a spear in his hand, roared the heavens with his roar, and then came to battle. Shrikrishna-Nandan climbed on a vibrant and dark Sindhi horse and began to enjoy the splendor of a lightning-kinetic sword. He placed the spear in the horse's belly and jumped from the ground to the elephant's grave, as if a lion had climbed to the top of the mountain with great speed. 11-17 | (Vishwajitkhand Chapter 36 to 40)

Srikrishnakumar Deeptiman then abruptly severed Mahanabha's head from the torso with a sharp-edged sword. While firing arrows, Deepti Man of that evil army destroyed with his sword just as a lion trumps a herd of elephants. Some demons were killed by the sword, the rest fled the battlefield. The gods showered flowers on Deeptiman's head, the Kinnars and Gandharvas sang, and communities of nymphs danced. The sages, sages, and the gods praised the son of Srihari. 18-21 |
