English translation
The pomp and pageantry of the Sri Krishna Janmotsav; the bringing of the gopas and gopis; the proper treatment of all by Nanda and Yashoda-Rohini; the arrival of Brahma and other deities for the darshan of Sri Krishna.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Subsequently, Nandaji, who was present at the gathering, on hearing the news of the Putrootsavam being held at his house, called the Brahmins in the morning and performed the auspicious ritual in a relaxed manner. By performing the ritual Jatakarma-samskara, Mahamanasvi Nandaraja joyfully gave Dakshina to the Brahmins and donated one lakh cows. The Seven Grains Mountains were set up on a piece of land. Their spires were decorated with jewels and gold. They were also accompanied by mustard and astringent substances. All those mountains were humbly given by Nanda Ji to the Brahmins. Rhythms such as mridangam, veena, conch, and dundubhi began to be played frequently. At the Nandadwar, the singers began to sing auspicious songs. The Varanganas started to dance. The Nanda temple began to emerge with flags, golden urns, chandavas, beautiful bandhanwaras, and many colorful paintings. The streets, alleys, gateways, walls, courtyards, and altars (platforms) were decorated with fragrant water sprayed on them and decorated with clothes and flags from all directions, giving them the appearance of a Chitramandap or a gallery. The horns of the cows were smeared with gold. A garland of gold was placed around his neck. They had bells around their necks and bells ringing in their legs. A few red swings were worn on his back. All the cows were decorated in this way, their tails painted yellow. They were accompanied by calves, their limbs imprinted with the hands of young women. They were mined from turmeric, vermilion, and exotic metals. Dharmadhurandhar Manohar, adorned with peacock feathers and flowers and anointed with fragrant water, was adorned here and there at the gate of Vrishabha Sri Nandarayaji. The white calves of the cows were fluttering around, adorned with gold beads and pearl necklaces. They also had chains tied around their legs. 1 - 10. (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
Sreenanda said, "Brothers! With your blessings and goodness, today is a joyous and auspicious day, I am the obedient servant of the cowherd gopis. 22.
The Gopis said, "Yashodaji! Very good, very well done. Oh no luck! Today is a day of great fortune. Blessed are you and blessed is your womb, which bore such a child. God has granted your wish today after a long time. What a lotus-like eye this handsome boy has! Nurture such a lovely smile with great care on its lips. . 27-28. .
Shreyashoda said, "Sister! It is the kindness and blessings of all of you that have brought this happiness and joy to my home. You have always had great mercy on me. After this, may you all also attain the same supreme bliss by the grace of God - this is my good-will. Sister Rohini! You are a very smart person. You do all the work very well. These Vrajvasini gopis who have come to their homes are excellent Kulakis. You worship and welcome them. Fulfill all these desires according to your will. 29-30 | (Golok Khand Chapters 11 to 15)
Srinardji says - Rajan! Rohiniji was also the daughter of the king. His hands were charitable in nature and Yashodaji encouraged him to donate too. Then what was it? He became very generous and started giving alms. The divine garments adorned her body and she was adorned with jewelled ornaments. Rohini, like Lakshmi, wandered around, greeting the celestial bodies. Human instruments played everywhere as Lord Krishna entered the Vraja, the abode of the Absolute. There was a loud noise of screaming and screaming. At that time, gop dahi, dudh and ghese and gopanganas began to soak each other in fresh butter and sing loudly. Dahi ka mela was spread all over the outside and inside of the Nanda Bhavan. It had old and fat people slipping and falling and others laughing and clapping their hands. Your Majesty! Nanda-Raiji provided a thousand cows, one for each of the legendary yarns, Magadha and Nirmal Buddhiwale, admirers of the dynasties, and the hostages who came there, speaking on occasion. Everything was given, including clothing, jewelry, gems, horses, and elephants. All the captives and Magadhajans were given a lot of wealth by the wealthy Gopa Brajeshwara Nandaraya. It rained in the amount of money. Nidhi, Siddhi, Vriddhi, Bhukti, and Mukti - these seemed to flow in the streets of Vraja, from house to house. There was no desire in anyone's mind to have them. 31-39 |
At that time, Brahmaji went there with Sanatkumar, Kapila, Shuka, and Vyasa, and Hans, Dattatreya, Pulastya, and Mujha (Narada). Brahmaji's complexion was similar to that of hot gold. Crowns shone on their heads and coils in their ears. He came there, illuminating the entire universe, seated on a four-faced Brahma swan, the author of the Vedas. They were followed by Vrishabharudha Maheshwara, who was surrounded by ghosts. Then came the chariot-riding Sun, the Airavata elephant-riding Devaraja Indra, the Kanjarit-riding Vayu-deva, the Mahishavahana Yama, the Pushpakarura Kubera, the Mrigavahana Chandra, the goat-riding Agni-deva, the crocodile-ridden Varuna, the Mayuravahana Kartikeya, the swan-ridden Saraswati, the Garudarura Lakshmi, the lion-riding Durga, and the cow-ridden Prithvi, who were seated on the vimana. The sixteen main matrikas of Divyakantivali were seated on palanquins. Shashthi Devi, who carried a sword, a chakra, and a yashti, had reached there on a mace. The Mars god climbed on a monkey and the Mercury god climbed on a bird named Bhasa. Brihaspati on a blackbuck, Shukracharya on a cow, Shanidev on a crocodile, and Rahu on a camel - all planets as bright as millions of sunsets - arrived at the Nanda temple. - There was a big commotion going on. That Nand Bhavan was filled with herds of gopas and gopis. When the gods arrived, they stopped for a moment and then left. Seeing the child-like Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna, the gods gave him the best of praises at that time. All the gods and goddesses, including Brahma and the sages, visited Krishna there and went to their respective abodes, filled with love and joy. . 40-51. .
