The slaying of Arishtasura and Vyomasura and the epilogue of Madhuryakanda
Srinardji says - Rajan! One day, around Govardhan, Lord Krishna along with Balarama started playing a game of eyeballs in which one becomes a thief and another a protector. There came a demon named Vyomasura. In that game, some boys became sheep, and someone became a thief and took the sheep and hid them. Vyomasura took many sheep and goats in turns, placed them in the hillside, and closed the gate with a stone. He was the most powerful son of Mayasura. Knowing that he had indeed turned out to be a thief, Lord Madhusudana seized him by both arms and threw him to the earth. At that time, the daitya attained death and the radiant radiance emanating from his body rotated in ten directions and absorbed into Krishna. At that time, there were shouts of joy in heaven and on earth. The gods and goddesses were filled with supreme bliss and began to shower flowers. 1 - 6. (Madhurikand chapters 20 to 24)
Bahulashwa asked, "Munna! This demon named Vyom was a virtuous human being in a previous life, who merged with Krishna like lightning in a dark cube. 7.
Narada said, "O king! In Kashi, there was a king known as Bhimaratha, who was always engaged in charity. He was a yajna-carver, reverent of others, archer, and devotee of Vishnu. He set his son over the kingdom and went to Malayachala himself, where he began austerities and remained there for a hundred thousand years. His ashram was once visited by the sage Pulastya with his disciples. Even on seeing them, they neither stood up nor bowed before the acknowledged Rajarshi. The police then cursed him saying, "Oh great Bhupal! You will become a monster. "Then, when the king fell at his feet and surrendered, Dinavatsala Munisrestha Pulastya said to him, 'At the end of the Dwapara, in the holy Vrajmandala of the Mathura district, you will receive such liberation from the armoury of the Yaduvamsa king Krishna, whose yogis aspire, there is no doubt about it.' 8-13 |
Shrinaradji says - Vidhehraj! He was the son of King Bhimaratha Mayya Daitya and attained Moksha from the armoury of Lord Krishna. One day, the demon Mahabali appeared among the Gopa children. He was piercing the earth and the heavens with his lion's roar and piercing the mountain shores with his horns. On seeing him, the community of gopis, gopas and cows started running away in fear. Lord Krishna, the destroyer of demons, gave them all refuge and said, 'Do not be afraid. 'Madhava took hold of his horns and pushed him back. The demon also pushed Krishna back two yojanas. Then Krishna took hold of his tail and, swirling it with his arms, knocked him to the ground in the same manner as the little boy would throw Kamandaluku. Arishta got up again. His eyes were turning red with rage. The mighty hero uprooted the red stone from the horns and threw it at Lord Krishna while roaring like a cloud. Krishna caught hold of the stone and hit it on the other side. The impact of the boulder left him feeling a bit downhearted. He began to beat the tip of his horns to the ground, releasing water from within the earth. Krishna then took hold of its horn and, while spinning it repeatedly, struck it on the earth in the same manner as the wind picks up and throws away the lotus. At the same time, he renounced the form of Vrishabha and became a Brahmin and bowed at the feet of Lord Krishna and spoke in a profound voice. 14-23 |
The Brahmin said, "Oh my God! I am Dwijashrestha Varantu, a disciple of Brihaspati. I went to study near Brihaspatiji. At that time he was sitting in front of them with his feet spread out towards them. At this, the sage said angrily, 'You are sitting in front of me like an ox, this has defied the teacher; therefore, be wise!' You are going to be a bull. 'Madhava! That curse made me a bull in Bangladesh. Being in the company of demons made me feel insecure. Now by your grace I am free from curses and impurities. You are salutations to Lord Krishna. You pay obeisance to Lord Vasudeva. Repeatedly salutations to you, Lord Govinda, who destroys the hair of the ancestors. 24-28 |
Srinardji says - Rajan! Having said this, Varantu, a direct disciple of Brihaspati, saluted Sriharika and went from the plane to the divine world, illuminating Bhuvan. Thus I described to you the wonderful melody block, which is the perfect instrument for all sins, the giver of virtue, and the attainment of Krishna. It is the giver of all the wishes of those who recite it at all times. What else do you want to hear? . 29-31 |
