The glory of Yajna Tirtha, Kapitankatirtha, Nrugakupa, Gopibhumi and Gopichandan; the salvation of a great sinner by the touch of the clay of Dwarka
Srinardji says - Rajan! In the past, King Raivata built a Yajna Tirtha on that mountain, where by performing a yajna, a person reaps the fruits of the meritorious. There is a shrine called 'Kapitank', which was revealed by the slaying of a Kapike. The king! On the Raivataka hill, that shrine is the destroyer of all sins. 1-2.
Bhaumasurka Sakha was an ape named Dwivedi, who was very evil. The place where Balramji struck him with a Vajra-like punch is Kapitanka-Tirtha. The ape was defiant to good men, yet was immediately free from being killed there. O Lord! Devotees always come to bathe in that tirth. A visit to the 'Kalvinkatirtha' yields the fruits of Koti Gondana. From this, two virtues are obtained on the journey to the auspicious Dandakaranya. Four times as much virtue is accessible on a trip to the vast forest called Sandhav. Even five times more virtue than that is gained by a person by travelling on a jumbo route. In the forest of Pushkar Tirtha, even ten times that amount of merit is attained. Ten times as much virtue as that is accessible by a journey to the 'Utpalavarta-tirtha'. Ten times his worth is also mentioned in the Naimisharanyateertha. Woe to you! Bathing in the Kapitanka Tirtha is a hundred times more virtuous than Naimisharanya. 3-8 | (Dwarkand Chapter 11 to 15)
Dwarakame is a 'Nrugakup', the best of the shrines. His vision alone absolves one of the sin of Brahmahatya. King Nrigna had unknowingly given the cow of a Brahmin into the hands of another Brahmin. For the same sin, they had to put on a chameleon body and live in a well. King Nruga, the best of the Gentiles, also fell into a dungeon because of a small sin and lived there for four ages. Then seeing the good men, Lord Krishna saved them. I was taken aback. From the same day, 'Nrugakup' became a pilgrimage site. On the full moon day of Kartik, one should take a bath in the water of that well. A man who does this is no doubt redeemed from the sins of generations to come. There, whoever performs the ritual, is undoubtedly a partaker of the meritorious fruits of the ritual. 9-13 |
The king! Now listen to the significance of 'Gopibhumi', the perfect pilgrimage site for sins. By listening to him, one gets rid of the bondage of karma. The place came to be known as' Gopibhumi 'because of the residence where the Gopis resided. There is an excellent Gopichandan made from the flesh of gopis. He who applies gopichandan to his limbs receives the fruits of the Ganga-bath. One who always imprints with Gopichandan's mudras, that is, imprints with Gopichandan's tilak, receives the merit of bathing in the Mahanadi every day. He performed a thousand Ashvamedha and a hundred Rajasuya sacrifices. All the tirthas also performed the rituals of consumption, charity, and fasting. Undoubtedly, he becomes grateful by just applying gopichandan daily. The Rajka of Chitrakoot is considered twice as virtuous as the soil of the Ganges, ten times as virtuous as the Rajka of Panchavati, and a hundred times as virtuous as the Gopichandan Rajka. Think of Gopichandan as the king of Vrindavan. Even if a person whose body is covered with gopichandan has hundreds of sins, Yamraj cannot take them with him, so what is the matter with the Yamadutas? A man who, despite being a sinner, wears the tilak of Gopichandan daily goes to Sriharike Golokdham, where Prakrit qualities do not enter. 14-22 |
There was a king of the Indus, named Dirghabahu. He lived an unjust life, was a demon, and was always in the company of prostitutes. He had committed hundreds of brahmahatas in India. The evil spirit had killed ten pregnant women. He had killed the Kapila cows with his arrow-groups while hunting. One day, he rode a Sindhi horse into the forest for hunting. There, his enraged minister, out of greed for kingdom, killed the mighty king with a sharp-edged sword in the forest itself. Seeing him lying on the earth and dying, Yama's servants tied him up and took him to Yampuri, expressing mutual joy. Seeing the sinner standing in front of him, the mighty Yamaraja immediately asked Chitragupta, 'What torture is worth it?' '. 23-28 |
Chitragupta said, "Your Majesty! Surely it should be thrown down in turns into eighty-four million hells and suffer hell as long as the moon and the sun exist. It has never performed a moment of virtue by being born in India. It has killed ten pregnant women and innumerable Kapila cows. In addition, it has killed thousands of wild animals. Therefore, it is a great sinner who blasphemes against the gods and the Brahmins. 29-31 |
Naradji says - Rajan! At that time, at the behest of Yama, the Yamadutas took the evil spirit to the Kumbhipaka Hell, whose length was one thousand yojanas. There was a large pot filled with heated oil. The foam was rising in the boiling oil. The Yamdutas threw the sinner into the same pot. As soon as it fell, the flames that had ignited there, resembling a cataclysm, cooled down instantly. Woe to you! Just as Prahlada cooled when he was thrown into the boiling oil, the flame there calmed down when the sinner was thrown into hell. The Yamadutas narrated this strange incident to Mahatma Yam at the same time. Along with Chitragupta, Dharmaraja became very worried and thought - 'It has never done any good even for a moment on the ground floor. 'Nareswar. It was at this time that Vyasji arrived at Dharmarajako Sabha. After worshiping him ritually, Dharmaraja, the most intelligent Dharmatma, asked him to bow down to him. 32-36 |
Yama said, "Oh my God! This sinner has never done anything wrong anywhere before. So it was thrown into the great pot of potteries filled with boiling oil in which the foam was rising. As soon as it was put out, the fire there cooled instantly. I am indeed deeply saddened by this suspicion. 37-38 |
Srivyasji said, "Maharaj! The movement of sin and virtue is as subtle as the movement of Brahman is described by the wisest men of all scripture. It has attained direct and meaningful virtue by itself through Daivayoga. The great Let me tell you the virtue by which he has been purified; listen. This sinner has died where Dwarka's soil was lying in someone's hand. It is through the influence of that clay that this sinner has been purified. One whose limb is smeared with Gopichandan becomes' Narayan 'from' Nar '. His darshan is immediately overshadowed by Brahma's murder. 39-42 | (Dwarkand Chapter 11 to 15)
Naradji says - Rajan! Hearing this, Dharmaraja brought him and sent him to Vaikuntha Dham, a place beyond nature, on a special plane that moved at will. Gopichandan's knowledge of Suyash (Pratap) came to him suddenly at the same time. The king! This is how I glorified Gopichandan to you. The best human being who listens to this greatness of Gopichandan goes to the supreme abode of Mahatma Krishna. 43-44 |
