Characteristics of Nanda, etc.; Introduction to Gopiyutha; Description of the Pre-received Blessings Caused by the Acquisition of Gopibhava, Shruti, etc.
Lord Brahma asked, "O God! Who is called 'Nanda' and what are the characteristics of who is' Upananda 'and' Vrishabhanu '? . 3.
Lord Brahma said, "O God! You are a relative of the poor and also the cause of the world (Prakriti). O Lord! Now describe to me all the signs of youth. 9.
Lord Brahma asked, "Purushottama! What virtuous deed have these women performed and what are the boons they have received, as a result of which they will reside in Vraja? Because, that place of yours is rare even for yogis. . 18. .
The Lord said, "In the past, the Śrutis went to Svetadvipa and there they praised in a sweet voice my Swaroopabhoota Bhuma (the Supreme Person or Parabrahman)." Then the thousand and twenty great men were pleased and spoke. 19.
Srihari said, "Shrutiyo! Ask for whatever groom you wish to have. What is a rare commodity for those on whom I myself have been pleased? . 20.
Hearing such talk of the Śrutis, the Lord gave them a vision of His divine heavenly abode, which is beyond nature. He is the embodiment of folk wisdom, indestructible and immanent. There is a forest called 'Vrindavan', which is adorned with Kamaraka Kalpavriksha. Enriched with enchanting niches, Vrindavan is pleasant in all seasons. There is a hill called 'Govardhan' adorned with beautiful waterfalls and caves. Full of gems and metals, Mount Sriman is surrounded by beautiful birds. The Yamuna, the cleanest river, also flows there. Both its banks are lined with gems. She is always pervaded by geese and lotuses, etc. A community of gopis adorns the complexion there, full of vibrant colors. In the middle of the same gopi-community resides the adolescent-adorned Lord Krishna. Showing His world to those listeners thus, the Lord said - 'Tell me, what shall I do for you now? You have seen this world of mine, there is no better groom. " . 22-27 | (Golok Khand Chapters 1 to 5)
The Shrutis said, "O Lord! Seeing the enchanting Srivigraha like your crores of Kamadevas has made us feel Kamini-bhava and we are feeling a strong desire to meet you! We are seething - there is no doubt about it. Therefore, just as the gopis in your world serve you to seek your companionship, we too have the same desire. 28-29 |
Srihari said - Shrutiyo! This intention of yours is rare and accidental; yet I have approved it well, so it will remain true. In the next creation, when Brahma engages in the creation of the world, all of you will be Gopis in the Śrūtīra Vrajam after the Saraswat-Kalpa has passed. I will be your beloved within the almighty in Vrindavan, within my Mathurmandal in Bharata, on earth. Thou shalt have strong love for me, which is greater than all love. Then all of you will be blessed with success by receiving Me. . 30-33 |
The Lord says, "O Brahma! In the previous kalpa, I have given the boon, by the same effect, those shrutis will be the gopis in vrajam. Now listen to the symptoms of the other gopis. 34.
In the Treta Yuga, to protect the gods and destroy the demons, my embodiment, the mighty Srimachandra, descended. Kamallochan Sriram went to Sita's swayamvara, broke the bow, and married Janakanandini Srisitaji. O Brahma! On that occasion, the women of Janakpur fell in love with Shri Ram. He expressed his intention in solitude with the Mahabhaga - "Raghava! Mayst thou be our supreme Beloved. 'Then Lord Rama said 'Sundariyo! You do not have to grieve. At the end of the door, I will grant your wish. May you continue to practice the virtues of pilgrimage, charity, penance, defecation, and virtue with utmost reverence and devotion. You will have the privilege of being a Gopi in Vrajam. Thus, with a boon, the archer Karunanidhi Sri Rama left for Ayodhya. On the way, he defeated Bhrigukulnanda Parashurama. The women of Kosala district also saw the charming Kanti Rama on his way through Rajpath. Kamadeva was fascinated by her beauty. Those women described Shri Rama as a husband with a mind. At that time, the omniscient Lord Rama blessed all those women - 'All of you will be Gopis in Braj and at that time, I will fulfill your wish.' 35-42. . (Golok Khand Chapters 1 to 5)
Then Raghunathji, along with Sita and the soldiers, arrived in Ayodhya. Hearing this, women living in Ayodhya came to see him. Seeing Sri Rama, he was captivated. They fell in love and fell head over heels in love. She then went on a penance on the banks of the Sarayuk, devoting herself to the fast of Lord Rama. Then there was a voice before him, 'At the end of the Dwapara, in Vrindavan on the banks of the Yamuna, your desires will no doubt be fulfilled.' 43-45 |
Sita and Lakshmana were also with Rama when he travelled to Dandakavan on his father's orders and were wandering around with bows in their hands. There were a lot of sages there. He had fidelity in the form of a Gopala-clad god. They used to meditate on God for the sake of Raslila. Sri Rama was in his youth at that time - he was holding a bow and arrow in his hands. They had a peculiar charm from the crown of jatas. The sages' attention was drawn to Sri Rama as he arrived at his ashram. (They were worshippers of the sage Gopala-clad God) So seeing Shri Rama in another form came as a surprise to everyone. His samadhi was broken and Shriram, as beautiful as millions of Kamadevas, appeared. Then they cried out, "Ah! Today, our Gopalji has arrived without a family and cane. In this way, all of them, thinking with all their hearts, bowed down to Lord Rama and began to give him the best praise. 46 - 50. .
Then Lord Rama said - 'Muniyo! Ask for the groom. When they heard this, they all said in unison, "Just as Sita is your beloved, so are we." 51.
Śrīma said, "If it is your prayer that we become your brothers, just as your brother is Lakshmana, then your wish may be fulfilled by Me today; but you have asked for a boon to be like 'Sita.'" Therefore, this bridegroom is very difficult and rare; for at this time, I have kept a monogamous fast. I am also known as' Maryada Purushottam 'in defence of dignity.
