English translation

Description of Kansaka's great strength, valor, and victory arising from a chronological passage.

King Bahulashva said, "Devarsishiromane! What demon was Kansa, endowed with great strength and valor, first known by? Tell me the details of its past lives and deeds. 1.

Srinardji says - Rajan! In the past, on the occasion of Samudra-Manthana, the great Asura Kalanimini fought with Lord Vishnu. God killed him by force in that battle. At that time, Shukracharya revived him with the power of his Sanjeevani Vidya. Then he again began to make a mindful effort to fight Lord Vishnu. At that time, the demon began to perform penance near the Mandrachala mountain. He worshipped Deveshwar Brahma by drinking doobka juice every day. When a hundred years had passed since the time of the gods, Brahmaji went to him. At that time, Kalnemi's body was left with only bones and termites mounted on it. Brahma said to him - "Ask for a boon." 2 - 5.

Kalnamini said that Vishnu is the origin of all the Mahabali deities in the universe. May I not die even at the hands of all those gods. 6.

Brahma said, "Daitya! This exquisite gift you have asked for is extremely rare; however, you may receive it at another time. My speech can never be a lie. 7. (Golok Khand Chapters 6 to 10)

Srinardji says - Rajan! Then the same demon named Kalanemi was born on earth from the womb of Ugrasena's wife (Padmavati). While still a boy, he wrestled with big wrestlers. (Once upon a time) Magadharaja Jarasandha left for Digvijaya. It was encamped here and there near the river Yamuna. He had an elephant named 'Kuvalayapida', which had the same strength as a thousand elephants. It was sucking the substance out of his mouth. One day he broke many chains and ran out of the camp. Breaking through camps, homes, and mountain banks, he threatened to go to the sangabhumi (arena) where Kansa was also wrestling. When he arrived, all the knights ran away. When Kansa saw him, he grabbed the elephant's trunk and dropped it on the ground. Kansa then took Kuvalayapida again with both hands, turned it around, and threw it into the Jarasandhika army, which was far from there. Magadhanresh Jarasandha was extremely pleased to see this marvellous force of Kansa and married off his two most beautiful daughters named 'Asthi' and 'Pratipati' to her. The elder son gave one billion horses, one hundred thousand elephants, three hundred thousand chariots, and ten thousand maids as dowry to Kansa. 8-15 |

Kansa was a lover of dueling. He was obsessed with dueling with his own strength alone. He went to Mahishmati Puri, a place of great valor. Mahishmati Naresh's five sons were noted wrestlers and had the courage to triumph in wrestling. Their names were Chanur, Mushtiq, Koot, Shal and Toshal. Kansa took refuge in Samaniti and lovingly told him, 'You must wrestle with me. If you are victorious, I will be your servant; and if I am victorious, I will make all of you my servants. Kansa made such a vow in front of all the great men of the city and started wrestling with the heroes who wanted to win. As soon as Chanur arrived, Yadaveshwara Kansa, roaring aloud, caught him and threw him to the earth. At the same moment, Mushtiq also came there. Kansa, who was angrily punching him, also knocked him down with a single punch. Now that he had come, Kansa took hold of both his legs and threw them to the ground. Then, while clapping their hands, Shaal also came running. Kansa grabbed him with one hand and started dragging him by knocking him to the ground. Kansa then forcibly grabbed both of Toshal's hands and knocked him to the ground. Then immediately picked it up and threw it ten yojanas away. Thus, Yadaveshwara Kansa took all those heroes as his servants and accompanied them to Pravarshana Giri, the highest mountain, at the same moment as the warriors called me (Naradaji). There he told the apes his intentions and fought with them relentlessly for twenty days. Dwidane picked up the rock from the mountain and threw it at Kansa's head, but Kansa caught hold of the rock and drove it over him. Dwivedi then flew into the sky after hitting Kansa with a punch. Kansa also chased him, caught him, and brought him down to the ground. The concussion caused Dwivedi to have a seizure. All of his enthusiasm was gone. The bones were crushed to pieces. Then he too became a servant of Kansaka. . 16-29 |

Kamsa then accompanied Dwivedi from there to the Rishyamukha forest. There lived a Mahadaitya known as' Keshi ', who had the shape of a horse. It roared like a cloud. Kansa rode over him, subduing him with punches. Thus he reached Mahendragiri by the great warrior Kansa. Danavaraja Kansa uprooted the mountain a hundred times and lifted it. Then the sage Parashurama, who lived there, whose eyes were red with anger and who was as radiant as the sun of the holocaust, bowed at his feet and circled him repeatedly. Then he lay down on both of their legs. Then the fiery fire of Parashurama, with a very fierce gaze, was quenched. They said, "Woe to you! Oh dear children! You are as insignificant as a mosquito. You are an evil Kshatriya living in extreme arrogance. I am sending you to the brink of death today. Behold, I have this great bow. Its gravity is equal to lac bharas (about three lac manas). During the war with Tripurasura, Lord Vishnu gave this bow to Lord Shankar. Then I received it from Shankarji to destroy the Kshatriyas. If you can mount it, then you are skilled; if you cannot mount it, then I will destroy all your strength. Hearing Parashurama's words, Kansa picked up the bow, which was as long as seven palms, and offered it to Parashurama. Then he stretched out the kartak, stretching it a hundred times. The pull of his axe made a thunderous sound similar to a thunderbolt. The entire universe, including the seven worlds and the underworld, echoed with his loud voice, the giants were distracted, and the stars began to crumble and fall to the ground. Kansa then placed the bow down and bowed repeatedly to Parashurama, saying: "O God! I am not a Kshatriya. I am your servant, the demon. I am the servant of your servants, Purushottam! Protect me Hearing such a prayer from Kansaki, Parashurama was pleased. Then he gave the bow to Kansa himself. . 30-42. .

Srinardji says - Rajan! After that, Sage Kansa, who was frantic with his strength, started wandering on the ground floor paying obeisance to Parashurama. No kings fought with him - all agreed to pay tribute to him. Now Kansa went to the coast of the sea. There lived a demon named 'Aghasura', which was shaped like a serpent. He looked like he was licking with a puffy and fluffy tongue. He came and started laughing at Kansa. Seeing this, the mighty demon king caught hold of him fearlessly and knocked him to the ground. Then she made him her own necklace. In those days, a demon named 'Arishta' lived in the eastern part of Bangladesh, which had the shape of an ox. With that demon, Kansa thus fights another elephant with an elephant similar to Jaa Bhida. The demon would lift large mountains with his horns and strike Kansa on the head. Kansa also used to take the same mountain in his hands and kill Arishtasura. In that battle, the demon king Kansa struck Arishtasura with a punch, causing the demon to faint. Thus defeating that Arishtasura, Kamsa moved north with him. Yudhishthira Kansa went to 'Naraka', the son of Lord Mahabali of Pragjyotishpur, and said to him, 'Daityesvara.
