English translation
The war between the Yadavas and the Kalwaras, the rise of Balabhadra, the destruction of Gandharva's army by him, the defeat of Gandharva's king, the plundering of the city of Vasantmalati; the coming of Gandharva's king to seek refuge and the grace of Balaram.
Naradji says - Rajan! As Lord Krishna moved to Dwarkapuri, Pradyumna approached Kamadudhanda with his soldiers. There is a town named Hemaratnamayi Vasantamalati, the charm of the Gandhavas, which spans a hundred yojanas. Groups of cloves and vines, cardamom, saffron, nutmeg, mace, Shrikhand sandalwood, and parijata trees adorned that Puri. Named after the murmurs of the pompous Bhramaras, voiced by the chirping of strange birds, and adorned with kalwaras, the city was as beautiful as Bhogvatipuri with serpents. 1 - 4.
At the same time, Mahavali Gandharvaraja, popularly known as Patang, ruled, who was very virtuous and had the same strength and strength as Devaraja Indra. When he heard that Pradyumna, who had set out for Vijaya, was coming, the Gandharva king, armed with a strange sword, decided to fight. King Patang, accompanied by a hundred million Gandharvas in chariots, horses, elephants, and foot, came to fight in front of Pradyumra. A fierce battle ensued between the Gandharvas and the Yadavas. Spears, maces, spears, mudras, tomars, and cymbals began to be struck. As the darkness spread with the arrows, the mighty kites advanced with bows and arrows and roared like clouds. Baldevji's powerful younger brother Gadane took the mace and began to crush the Gandhvan army just as Devraj Indra Vajrashe demolishes the mountains. 5-10 |
Many Gandharvas fell into the battlefield on being struck by the Gadaki donkeys, their chariots were torn to pieces, and all the elephants' kumbhas were torn apart. Many cavalrymen also perished on the battlefield. With their arms amputated, many Gandharvas appeared to be lying upright and face down. In an instant, a river of blood flowed in the army of the Gandavas. The Pramathas started collecting cannons on the battlefield to make headgear for Lord Rudra. Bhadrakali, riding a lion, came to the battlefield with hundreds of witches and was seen drinking blood in her skull. 11-14 |
Thus, when the Gandharvas began to flee in the war waged by the Gadakas, King Patang of Kharavala arrived there with an army of one hundred thousand elephants. Mithileshwar. As soon as the kite arrived, the mace hit the donkey in the chest. The donkey also hit the kite hard in the chest with its mace. The two of them engaged in a two-hour-long duel. Both of their maces broke apart, scattering sparks of fire. Ranadurmad Kite picked up a huge mace weighing lakhs and immediately hit the donkey on the head. The donkeys were silenced for a moment by the hit. Thus, when Mahamana Patang fought a fierce battle, one reached Tezpur from Dwarkapuri at the same time. 15-19 |
All the Yadavas saw that Tezpur was as bright as a million suns. Lord Baldev, the white-skinned Mahabali devotee, suddenly appeared from within. Balarama, the indigo-studded strongman, angrily pulled the entire army of the Gandharvas to the ground and began to beat them with clubs. They transported many chariots, elephants, and horses to Kalke Gal. The best of the heroes in the line of arms were scattered on the ground floor all at once, like broken stones. Fearing that even the kites would be chariot-less, Vasantmalati moved from there to Puri and again formed an army to fight the Yadavas. 20-24 |
O Lord! Enraged, Baldev dragged the entire Vasantmalati, the grand priest of the hundred-yojana Gandharvaki, down to Kamadughandam. Buildings in that city were starting to fall apart. Then there was an immediate commotion. Seeing his city wavering like a twisting or twisting boat, the kite was completely defeated, immediately joined hands with all the Gandavas, arrived there with gifts. 25-27 | (Vishwajitkhand Chapter 46 to 50)
He presented two lakh such vimanas to Baldevji, which were studded with golden-like kantiwalas and various gems. The pearl necklaces adorned them. Vishwakarma had elaborated on those planes ten by ten. All those vimana were custom-made and adorned with kalashas and flags. They radiated light like a thousand suns. He gifted four lakh cows, ten billion horses, cardamom, cloves, saffron and nutmeg along with crores of pots filled with divine nectar. Then he saluted and said to Balaram with folded hands, he was fully acquainted with the influence of Balabhadra. 28-31 |
The kite said, "Rama! The mighty Balarama! I did not know your prowess before, so I committed the crime. Who can stand in front of those on whom the whole earth looks like a tilak on one wall? Oh my god. Kaampal! Oh dear God! Hello there. Repeated obeisance to Balarama is due to you as the Absolute Eternal and the Shesh. Oh dear God! Your Jai Ho, Jai Ho. The Most High! Absolutely infinite! Your fame extends far beyond the horizon. You are superior to all the gods, gods, and goddesses. The muslims! You are salutations to the mighty Haldar. 32-34 |
Naradji says - Rajan! Mahabali Balabhadra was pleased to praise the kite in this way. He blessed Gandharva by saying, "Do not be afraid now." Subsequently, Yadaveshwara Baldev established Pradyumra, who had fallen at his feet, as the commander of the army, and soon moved to Dwarkapuri, receiving praise from the Yadavas. 35-36 |
Thus was completed the forty-sixth chapter of the "Descent of the City of Vasantamalati" in the Narada Bahulashva Samvad under the Vishwajit Khanda in the Srigargha Samhita. 46.
