English translation
Rukmini's concern; happiness on receiving the news of the auspiciousness of Sriharika by Brahmins; felicitation of Balarama and Krishna by Bhishmaka; wishes of the citizens; Rukmini's journey to worship the family goddess, prayers to the goddess and receiving blessings from fortunate women.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Bhishmakumari Rukmini, thinking of Charanarvinda of Srikrishna Chandra, began to believe that life without him was futile. She would constantly meditate on Ghanshyam. It was in this state that she began to speak her mind. 1.
Rukmini said, "Oh! There is only one night left for my wedding muhurat to arrive, but my beloved Srikrishna Chandra did not turn up. I don't know what is the reason behind it? Even the Brahmin deities who had gone to him had not returned so far. Oh dear Lord! What's the point in that? This Yadukula-Tilaka Deveshwara Sri Krishna is certainly not coming too industriously to take my bath after seeing a defect in me. Hi Vidhata! What do I do now? Hi there! The law is not right for me, the unfortunate one. Chandrashekhar, Lord Shiva, and Ganesha have also become hostile. Bhagwati Gauri has also turned her back on me and even cows and Brahmins are not in favour of me. 2 - 4.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Thus, alarmed, the Bhishmaka-princess wandered through the palatial buildings, waiting for Sri Krishna Chandra from the towering spire. Just then, Rukmini's left arm trembled, as if it were the answer or the solution to her doubts. Sarvamangala Śrībhīsmakānandini, who knew the times, was very pleased with the fragrance. 5 - 6.
At the same time, a Brahmin sent by Krishna immediately arrived there. He gently narrated to Rukmini the entire account of Krishna's arrival. This brought great joy to Sribhishmaka-princess and she bowed at the feet of the Brahmin deity and said - 'Wipravar! I will never depart from your lineage (that is, there will never be a shortage of wealth in your lineage), this is my promise. 7 - 8. (Dwarkand Chapter 1 to 5)
When Vidarbha's king Bhishmaka heard that Balarama and Krishna, brothers eager to witness my daughter's marriage, had arrived, he set out with the Brahmins to bring them to Liva, knowing full well their influence. They came with auspicious bells and cymbals, carrying clothes and jewels filled with fragrance and impurity in mangala pots. The king ceremoniously worshipped both Balarama and Sri Krishna, the God-brothers, by decorating a pot of kalasha. After performing the puja, they were deeply depressed thinking, 'Oh! Why didn't I give them my daughter? "He was lodged with the army in Anandwan and after paying obeisance to them, he returned to his palace. 9-12 |
O Lord! While the people were talking in this way, Rukmini Girirajnandini, the Bhishmaka-princess, came out of the inner purse with all her companions to worship Umaka. His heart was swallowed up by Krishna. At that time, Bheri, Mridangam and Dundubhiki started playing loudly. Good singers sang songs, Vandijan and Magadh chanted hymns, and the Varanganas began to dance gracefully. Along with all this, the hum of cheers and cheers echoed loudly. 16-17 |
Rukmini Koti, in the form of Lakshmi, was holding the moonlight. The gleaming kundals adorned her ears like a ballerina, and the community of courtesans engaged in her service, wearing white umbrellas and twirling bright skins. Armed with millions of white bare-knuckled swords draped around a manus, the foot warriors guarded it from all sides. Not far from these, horsemen, charioteers, and elephant warriors also took up arms and stood in defence of the princess. 18-19 |
Arriving at the temple of the goddess, standing in a calm and pure mood in the courtyard, the princess washed her tender hands and feet. Then, in silence, he approached the goddess and joined both hands, thus praying in the service of Bhavani, the Bhavabhitiharini, "Durga! Bhavani Shiva, the well-wisher with children like Ganesha-Kartikeya! I bow to you always and ask this boon that Lord Shrikrushnachandra, the true God who is beyond nature, be my husband. " 20-21 | (Dwarkand Chapter 1 to 5)
At that time, the sakhis began to say - 'Good luck! Do not take the name of Krishna in this way. For the sake of Chediraj Sisupala, ask for a boon. Bhishmanandini, standing in the midst of her companions, thus speaking, repeated the aforesaid prayer again in Bhavani's palace. 'Oh no! This girl doesn't know anything; so you don't pay attention to it. Sitting in the midst of the saying Sakhis, Rukmini served and worshipped Bhavani with great devotion by offering incense, incense, incense, jewellery, flower garlands, flowers, lamp garlands, offerings like pua, clothes, fruits, sugarcane, and tambulas. Thereafter, the princess paid obeisance to all the fortunate women by bowing to the goddess, worshipping them with many ornaments, etc. 22-24 |
All those fortunate women gave boons to Rukmini and bestowed the most auspicious blessings - 'Princess! May your form and beauty always remain as inexhaustible as Maharani Shatrupa, graceful as Girirajnandini Uma. The spirit of husbandly service in you is like Arundhati, and forgiveness is like Janakanandini Sita. Bhishma Nandini! May thy good fortune (Yajñopani) be like the south, and the best splendour like the chachi. May thy speech be like that of Saraswati, and may thy husband's devotion be like that of the saints. " 25-26 |
