Description of Dadhi-Chori in Krishna's Child-Lila
Srinardji says - Rajan! Subsequently, both Balarama and Sri Krishna, Gourashyam Manohar Balakrishna, began to make the Nanda Bhavan extremely beautiful and attractive with various plays. Mithileshwar! They moved with both hands and knees and began to move around in the air in a short time, speaking sweetly and softly. Raised by mothers Yashoda and Rohini, they were both babies who sometimes left their mothers' arms and sometimes came back into their own. The two brothers, Rama and Shyam, who charmed Tribhuvan by disguising themselves as delusional children, roamed around, whispering hymns of manjeer and kardhani. Mother Yashoda would play in the courtyard with the children and sweep and wipe with great reverence her saliva granules, which were grey with dust. 1 - 5.
Krishna would walk with both hands and knees back to the courtyard and thence to the Mataki Godown. In this way, they were playing like lion cubs in the jungle. Mata Yashoda would make him wear a gold-studded pyramids and a yellow jaguli and a radiant jeweled crown on his head, and thus experience immense bliss upon seeing him in his most splendid and magnificent form. The gopis took great pleasure in seeing Balmukunda, the most beautiful child-friendly sport. Those happy-looking Gopanganas would leave their homes and come to the court of the Nanda king, and there they would all forget the merits of their homes. The king! Yashodaji would pick up his salad and go inside the house when Krishna would turn back in horror on seeing the artificial lion statue at Nandarayaji's doorstep. At that time, the gopis used to say to Yashoda, "May the heart be kindly upon you in Vraj." 6 - 9. (Golok Khand Chapter 16 to 20)
The Gopangans began to say, "Good luck! Your saliva shows great agility to play. Its balcony is very picturesque. Don't let it get anyone's attention. So don't let this crow-faced baby out of the yard. Look, only the two teeth on top of it have come out before, which is to Mama's fault. Yashodaji! This child of yours also does not have an uncle, so you should donate to the cause of prevention. Cow, Brahmin, Deity, Sadhu, Mahatma and Vedas should be worshipped. 10 - 12.
Srinardji says - Rajan! From then on, Yashoda and Rohini donated clothes, gems, and new grains daily for the well-being of their sons. A few days later, both boys, Rama and Krishna, who looked like lion cubs, grew up and started walking on their feet in groups. Rama and Shyama wandered curiously along the auspicious sandy banks of the Yamuna, surrounded by blue-dense tamarind trees and the splendid Kalindi-coastal grove of Kadamba-Kunjaki, with children like Sridama and Subala accompanying the sambas. 13-16 |
Srihari, enjoying his childhood with the gopis, went around the houses with his friends and started stealing butter and ghee. One day, Gopi Prabhavati, the wife of Upananda, came to the Shrinanda temple and spoke to Yashoda. 17-18 | (Golok Khand Chapter 16 to 20)
Srinardji says - Rajan! Hearing of Prabhavati, Nanda-Gehini Yashoda scolded the boy and comforted Prabhavati with great love. 23.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Hearing this from Yashodaji, Gopi Prabhavati returned home happy. One day, Krishna went to his house with his children to steal curd again. Clinging to the wall of the house, holding the hands of one child from the other, they slowly entered the house. Seeing that the cowherd placed on the peel could not be held by hand, Srihari himself set up a trap on top of it. He put some curls on it and you climbed up with them. However, they could not find the hoofed goose, as it could only be obtained from a taller man. He then, along with Sridama and Subal, attacked Matke with sticks. The jar of curd burst open and the whole pot was washed away on the earth. Then Madhava, along with Balarama, filled the manohara with curd and ate it with curd and monkeys. Gopi Prabhavati reached there after hearing the cracking of the pot. All the other children ran away from there; but he held Krishna's hand. Krishna was terrified and began to shed false tears. Prabhavati took them and went to the Nanda Bhavan. In front of him stood Nandrayaji. On seeing them, Prabhavati put a frown on his face. Srihari thought - 'Mother will definitely punish me if I go like this. 'So that freewill God took the form of a son of Prabhavati. Infuriated, Prabhavati quickly approached Yashodaji and said, "He broke my yogurt pot and looted all the yogurt." 27-35 |
Yashodaji saw that this was his son; then he laughed and said to the Gopi, 'First remove the sneeze from your mouth, then tell the child's fault.' If you want to make a false accusation like that, get out of my town. Will the theft of your daughter be put on my son's forehead? 'Then Prabhavati, who was sitting in the midst of the people, removed the sneeze from her mouth and showed her her own child. She looked at him and exclaimed, "Oh no! Where have you come from! I had the essence of Vraja in my hands. 'She walked out of the Nand Bhavan with her son, muttering like that. Yashoda, Rohini, Nanda, Balarama and other gopas and gopanganas laughed and said, 'Aho! A great injustice has begun to be shown in Vraj. 'There the Lord reached the outer alley, then became Nanda-Nandana, and spoke to the Gopi with a frantic gaze, laughing aloud, introducing the whole body to the evil one. 36-41 | (Golok Khand Chapter 16 to 20)
The Lord said, "Ari Gopi! If you ever catch me again, I will no doubt take the form of your husband. 42.
Srinardji says - Rajan! Hearing this, she went to her house, surprised by Gopi's surprise. From that day on, the gopis of all the houses did not hold the hands of Sriharika with shame. 43.
