Praise to Lord Krishna by Indra and his anointment by Surabhi and Airavata
Srinardji says - Rajan! Devaraja Indra, then lost in pride, came to the mountain with the gods and spoke to Krishna in solitude, bowing to him. 1.
Indra said, "You are the God of gods too, the omnipotent, the absolute God, the Puranic Purusha, the Supreme Personality of Nature, and the transcendent Srihari." Lord of the heavens, Lord of the universe! Protect me, protect me, protect me. You are the God who takes ten incarnations to protect Dharma, the cow, and the Veda. Even at this time, you have descended only for the destruction of the demonic kings like Kansa, the most perfect god. Your delusion whose spirit is captivated, who is mad and defiant, I am your criminal Indra. Oh no! Forgive me my transgressors, as a father forgives a son's transgressions. Oh dear God! Jagannivas! Be pleased with me. Salutations to you Govinda, the one who raised Govardhan. Greetings to Gopal, the resident of Gokul. Salutations are due to the husband of the Gopalas, the husband of the Gopis, and the protector of the Girirajas. The treasure of compassion and the creator of the universe, the sustainer of the universe and the abode of the universe, is your salutation to the Supreme Being. The Lord of Vrishabhanunandini, the Lord of Nandarajakuladeepak, who is the mind giver to the universe and even to millions of Kamadevas, salutes the most perfect Lord Krishna. Repeated salutations and salutations to Lord Krishna, the husband of countless universes, the lord of Golokdham, and the one who resides with Balarama. 2 - 5. (Girirajkhand Chapter 1 to 5)
Whoever wakes up in the morning to recite this hymn by Indra will have access to all kinds of siddhis and will not be afraid of any trouble, says Srinaradji. Thus, in praise of Lord Srihariki, Devaraja Indra, with folded hands, bowed to him along with all the deities. After this, Surbhi Gouna, born from Kshirsagar, came to that picturesque Govardhan mountain and bathed Gopeshwar Shri Krishna with her milk stream. Then drunken Gajaraja Airavata anointed Lord Krishna with four spikes filled with Ganges water. The king! Then the whole deity, full of joy, took with him the sages Gandharva and Kinara, showering flowers with the recitation of Veda-mantras, and began to praise Srihariki. 6-10 |
The king! When the anointment of Lord Krishna was completed, the great mountain Govardhan began to flow everywhere, melting with joy and gladness. Then the Lord was pleased and placed His lotus on him. O Lord! That sign of the Lord's hand on that mountain is still visible today. He became the Most Holy Shrine, the destroyer of human sins. There is also a step sign. Maithil! Think of it as the ultimate pilgrimage as well. Where there is a handmark, there is also an equally large footmark. Maithil! Surbhi Devi's footprints were also made at the same place. Mithileshwar! The waters of the Milky Way, which fell on account of Lord Krishna's grandmother, revealed the 'Manasi Ganga', the destroyer of all sins. O Lord! Govinda's discharge from the early milk streams revealed 'Govindakunda' on the mountain, which is the supreme pilgrimage site for great sins. Sometimes the tonic water has the taste of milk. By bathing in it, a person directly attains the abode of Govinda. Thus, after circumambulating Srihariki there and offering him a sacrificial offering (pooja) in reverence, the gods Indra and others returned to heaven with great joy, showering flowers with joy. Rajendra! One who listens to this story of the consecration of Lord Krishna finds more merit in the abhrita of the ten Ashvamedha sacrifices. Then he attains the supreme position of the Supreme Being, Lord Krishna. 11-19 |
Thus was completed the fourth chapter under the Srigirirajakhanda in the Srigargasamhita, the Srinarada Bahulashva-Samvadam, titled "The Abishekam of Lord Krishna." 4.
