English translation

In the past, the Ekadashi fast introduced the virtues who obtained the desired results and the Gopikas in the form of Yajnasitas attained Sri Krishna-Sanidhi through the influence of the Ekadashi fast.

The gopis said, "Beautiful Vrishabhanu Nandini, who has mastered the interpretation of all the scriptures!" You imitate Brihaspati Muni's speech with your speech. Radhe! Who performed this Ekadashi fast earlier? Tell us this in particular, for you are truly a treasure trove of knowledge. 1-2.

Sri Radha said, "The gopis. First, the gods performed the Ekadashi Vrat ritual for the attainment of their lost kingdom and destruction of the demons. King Vaishanta in the past observed the Ekadashi fast for the salvation of his Yamalokagata father. A king named Lumpaka was suddenly abandoned by his family because of his sin. Lumpakne also observed Ekadashi fast and gained his lost kingdom under its influence. In the city of Bhadravati, the sonless king Ketumanne performed the Ekadashi fast at the behest of the saints and was blessed with a son. A Brahmin woman was blessed with the Ekadashi Vrat by her godwives, which brought her wealth and bliss in heaven. Both Pushpadanti and Malyavana were vampires who were possessed by Indra's curse. They both observed the Ekadashi fast and re-acquired Gandharvatva by virtue of it. In the past, Sri Ramachandra Ji observed Ekadashi fast to build a bridge over the sea and slay Ravana. The gods had fasted Ekadashi for the well-being of all by sitting under the Amla tree, which arose at the end of the holocaust. At his father's behest, Medhavi observed the Ekadashi fast, freeing him from the guilt of contact with an apsara and complete with serene radiance. A Gandharva named Lalit, along with his wife, was cursed to become a demon, but regained Gandharva through the Ekadashi fast. It was from the fast of Ekadashi that King Mandhata, Sagara, Kakutastha, and Mahamati Muchukunda attained Punyaloka. Many other kings like Dhundhumara also attained sadhagati under the influence of Ekadashi fast and Lord Shankara was liberated from Brahmakapala. It was on Ekadashi that Dhrishtabuddhi, the great-great-grandson of Vaishya, who was abandoned by his family, entered Vaikuntha Loka. King Rukmangad also observed the Ekadashi fast and under its influence, after enjoying the kingdom of the earth, he arrived in Vaikuntha Loka with the Puravasis. King Ambarisha also observed the Ekadashi fast, which prevented him from being touched by the inviolable curse of Brahma. A yaksha named Hemamali was leprosy-prone by Kubera's curse, but by performing the Ekadashi fast, he became as radiant as the moon again. King Mahijit also observed the Ekadashi fast, under whose influence he himself attained Vaikuntha by procuring a beautiful son. King Harishchandra also observed the Ekadashi fast, from which he went to Vaikuntha-Dham, along with the Puravasis, after enjoying the kingdom of the earth. In the earlier Satya Yuga, King Muchukunda's son-in-law Shobhan went to Mandrachal with the gods under the benevolent influence of fasting on Ekadashi in Bharatavarsha. He still enjoys the kingdom there like Kubera with his queen Chandrabhaga. The Gopis! Consider Ekadashi the lord of all dates. There is no other date that compares to it. 3-22 | (Madhurikand Chapter 6 to 11)

Srinardji says - Rajan! Hearing the glories of Ekadashi thus from the mouth of Shri Radha, the yajnasita-svarupa gopikas ritually performed the Ekadashi Vrata ritual in the lust for the darshan of Shri Krishna. Pleased with the Ekadashi fast, Lord Srihari performed Rasa with them on the full moon night of the Margashirsha month. 23-24 |

Thus a new chapter called 'Ekadashi ka Mahatmya' was completed in the context of Yajnasitopakhyan in Narada Bahulashva-Samvad under Madhuryakanda in Srigargha Samhita. 9.
