Description of the Gajasena, cavalry and warriors of the Yadavas who set out for Digvijaya under Pradyumna

Srinardji says - Rajan! Thereafter, after saluting Lord Krishna, King Ugrasena, Balaramji and Guru Gargacharya, taking their orders, Pradyumra rode out of Kushasthali Puri on a chariot. Then all the Yadavas, Bhojvanshis, Vrishnivanshis, Andhakvanshis, Madhuvanshis, Shurvanshis, and Dasarbhavanshis followed them. Then all the heroes, including Krishna's brother Gada, took the permission of Krishna and left with their sons and armies. Maharathi like Samba also accompanied Pradyumna. 1-3.

They were all decorated with Yadava-vir kirtas, kundals, and iron armour. He was accompanied by an army of hundreds of thousands of Chaturanginis. They all moved out of Dwarkapuri. Their chariots were adorned with flags bearing the symbols of Peacock, Swan, Garuda, Pisces, and Talak, radiant as the solar system, and mounted by agile horses. The urns and spires of those chariots were made of gold, adorned with beads. All of them followed the chariot speed. Divine incense was being poured into them. They were adorned with a community of heroes and shone brightly like golden gods and goddesses, with such chariots glorifying those magnificent heroes. The army consisted of the most eccentric high-ranking Gajarajas, whose garrisons bore fruit. His face was painted with an odd letter. They were decorated with golden armour. He had a red pendant on his back and bells hanging on either side of him. O Lord! The elephants in that army looked like the spires of a king. Those gentlemen Gajendra appeared to imitate the Gajarajas - giants present in different directions. There were some gentry, which has been discussed. The others belonged to the Bhadramug caste. Some elephants originated in the Vindhyachal mountains and some were Kashmiri. Many were of Malayachala origin. Many were born in the Himalayas. Some Murunds were born in the country and many were born in the forests of Mount Kailash. Many were born into the Airavata clan, which had four tusks and adorned their necks with chains (girdani or girao). They had three spines in the upper part and could walk on the ground and even in the sky. 4-12 |

Hundreds of thousands of elephants were adorned with flags. Millions of dandubhis were placed on them. The hundreds of thousands of elephants within that army were studded with gemstones and were inspired by the Mahavats. Roaring, covered in black and blue scorching clouds, those Gajrajas adorned themselves like crocodiles in the sea of armies. They uprooted vines with their tusks and threw them towards the solar system, shaking the earth with foot strikes and dampening the mountains with heavy rains. They also had the power to knock down forts, rocks, and boulders from the collision of their mounds, and to cut down enemy forces. Such and such elephants were present in that Yadava army. 13-16 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 1 to 5)

The king! The Gajasena was followed by an army of horses. Some of those horses were from Matsyadesa, some from Kalinda Hills, some from Usinara, some from Kosala, Vidarbha, and Kurujangal. Some were born in the Kambojian (Kabuli), some in the Sranjayadeshis, some in the Kekay and Kunti countries. Some were born in the districts of Dard, Kerala, Anga, Vanga, and Vikta. Many were horses bred in Konkan, Kotak, Karnataka and Gujarat. Some of the soldiers were deshis and others were Sindhis. Many originated in Panchal (Punjab) and Abu. There were a lot of kutchi horses. Some were horses of the Anarta, Gandhara, and Malwa countries. Some originated in Maharashtra, some were bred in the Tailang country, and some were sea horses. 17-20 |

The horses that were present in the stables of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shri Krishna, also set out on that triumphal journey. Some of them came from the White Islands. Some who were horses from Vaikuntha, Ajitapada and Ramavaikuntha-loka also left with that army. They were adorned with gold necklaces and adorned with beads. Their crests were adorned with beads, whose far-reaching rays adorned the horses, and their furnishings were exquisite. The horses, adorned with leather (kalangi), had their tails, mouths, and feet gleaming with light. In that large army of Yadavas, one could see horses which were as fast as wind and beads. They did not touch the earth with their feet, they flew. Mithileshwar! Their speed was so light that they could walk on raw yarn and even on bubbles. They were also seen walking aimlessly on the mercury, on spider webs, and on water fountains. They continued to traverse the meandering equestrian valleys, rivers, inaccessible places, potholes, and even high palaces. Maithilendra. They danced around the earth, imitating the movements of peacocks, pheasants, cranes, geese, and kangaroos. Many of the horses were winged. His body was divine, his ears dark, his figure charming. The hair on the tail was yellow, and the body was white like the moon. They too had come out of Krishna's stables. Some horses were born into the Upper Shravake clan, some were born from the horses of the Sun God. Many horses were endowed with the Vidya (the art of walking) taught by the Ashwini Kumaras. Many were taught good manners by the god Varuna. Some of the kite was similar to a mandarin flower. Some of the picturesque horses were cobblestones. Many of the colours were yellow, similar to the Ashwini-pushpa (kaner). Many of the horses were shaded with gold and green. Many of the horses were Padmrag-Maniki-C Kantiwale. They all seemed to have all the auspicious traits. The king! Apart from these, millions of other horses came out of Kushasthali Puri. 21-32 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 1 to 5)

The archers of the army were heroes who had won laurels for their valor in many battles. They were all armed with power, tridents, swords, maces, shields, and rods. O Lord! They looked like a cataclysmic ocean, raining down weapons. Enemies were seen trampled and crushed like giants in the battlefield. The king! Thus emerged the mighty army of the Yadavas, who were astounding. Seeing this, the gods and the demons were all amazed. 33-35 |

Thus was completed the third chapter in the Narada Bahulashva-Samvad under the Vishwajit Khanda in the Srigarghasamhita, the 'Journey of the Yadavasena'. 3.
