The defeat of Rukmi at the hands of Krishna and the marriage of Rukmini and Krishna at Dwarakama

Hearing of Rukmini's abduction and the defeat of her friends, Bhishmakaputra Rukmini, listening to all the Bhoopalas, made this vow: "O kings! I solemnly pledge before you all that I will not enter Kundinapur without killing Shri Krishna in battle and returning Rukmini. " 1-2.

Having said this, the great prodigal hero took up the divine armour, which was solid and dark in colour. It looked as if it had been formed from a blue cloud. He then placed on his head the Indus-desi headdress (cap); a beautiful bow made of sauvir desh, two tarkas of lat desh, sword of mlechha desh, shield of kutj desh, mahashakti of yethrak, mace of gujarat, circumference of bengal and handkerchief (glove) of konkan desh and tied a ring made of wheat leather in the fingers and Rukmi, adorned with a crown, jewelled kundal and golden armband, decided to fight. Then, mounted on a chariot of chivalrous horses, he pursued Krishna with two Aksauhini forces. Seeing the return of the enemy forces, Mahabali Balarama took the Yadava army and confronted them on the battlefield. Repeatedly bowing and uttering harsh words, Rukmi approached Atirathi Deveshwara Krishna and said - 'Oh! Stand up, stand up, stand up. If you want to live, leave my sister at once. Otherwise, I will send you with the army to Yamlok at this time. Your clan is cursed by King Yayati, and you are about to eat the yoke of the bulls. He is terrified of germs and has run away with his back to the forest. " 3-11 | (Dwarkand Chapter 6 to 10)

Having said this, he took out an arrow from his arrow and placed it on the bow and pulled it to the ear and aimed it at Krishna's chest. Even though he was hurt by the arrow, Lord Krishna cut his bow with a sickle as if Garuda had torn apart a serpentine creature. Rukmi then quickly mounted a second gold-plated trumpet on his bow and wounded Srihari on the battlefield with ten arrows. Krishna then shot an arrow and cut the bow with Rukmi's spear at the same moment as the threefold world-bond is cut by Jnana. Lord Krishna cut his bow in two from the middle with his immaculate arrow. He then shot a hundred arrows at Rukmi, wounding him in battle. After the bow was cut, Vidarbha's prince wielded the superpower that shone above Srihari, as if a sage had used the superpower for science. God Gadagraj, the mace-bearer, struck the superpower with his mace, breaking it into two pieces. It was Rukmi who killed Sarathi with that fragmented power. Rukmi's chariot was crushed with horses by a heavy mace named Kaumodaki, the god's spearhead, as if a mountain had been shattered by a lightning strike. Then Bhishmakumara Rukmi also wielded a mace on Srihari, but the Lord again crushed it with a wheel. The mighty Rukmini, adorned with a golden bracelet, took the periphery of Bengal in her hands and struck it on the shoulder of Srihari, and it roared like a cloud in the battlefield. The Lord remained steadfast like an elephant who, despite being pounded from the periphery, did not count the stroke of the wreath. He attacked Rukmi on the battlefield from the same perimeter. Rukmi became a bit anxious after suffering a peripheral injury. He then took the shield and the sword in his hands, denouncing Madhava on the battlefield. The Lord also struck his sword, cutting off its shield and sword. Rukmi's helmet and large armour fell off the front of the sword. His hands and gloves were also cut off. Rukmi was now left with only a fistful of swords in that battle. At that moment, Rukmi, who had come to him, was caught by Sri Hari with his shoulder sticks and thrown to the earth, and just as the lion was riding on the deer, he climbed on it and in a rage, took his sharp-edged sword named Nandaka in his hand. When Rukmini saw Krishna intending to kill her brother, she was terrified and fell at her husband's feet, and the sati sadhvi princess spoke in a compassionate voice. 12-27 |

Sri Rukmini said, "Eternal! Oh dear God! Jagat Triwas! Oh my goodness! Your power is beyond what you can imagine. You are the guardian of this world. So Karuna Sagar! It is not right for you to kill my brother with a broad arm like a shawl. 28.

Srinardji says - Rajan! Scared and weeping, Rukmini's face was parched with sorrow. His throat was slit. Seeing such a state of his beloved sati Rukmini, Srihari abstained from killing Rukmi. Then, with a sharp-edged sword tied around his waist, Srihari cleaned half of Rukmi's beard and moustache. 29-30 | (Dwarkand Chapter 6 to 10)

Just then, Balramji arrived there with soldiers after defeating two Aksauhini forces. He saw Rukmi tied up in an ugly and lowly state. Then mercy came into their hearts, and unbinding it, Balaram rebuked Srihari and said, "Krishna! You didn't do it well, it's a publicized act. His wife's brothers are not mocked in this way. What will your elder brother, whom you have disfigured, say to you out of concern for Rukmini Bhai's plight? After saying this to Lord Krishna, he said to Rukmini - "Kalyani! You do not have to grieve. Thank you so much! Be in good health O Aryakumari! Excellency! You give up grief altogether, do not feel sorrow in your heart. Whatever is received, whether dear or unpleasant, I consider to be kalka. Just as the cube is subject to the wind, so the whole world is subject to time. Consider God and Vishnu, the masters of those whom you worship at that time. It is this sense of 'I' and 'mine' that is the cause of bondage to the world. Emotions without ego and affection are 'moksha', there is no doubt about it; there is no other giver of happiness and sorrow. It is all a delusion of the people themselves. Enemies, friends, and indifference are imagined by people of the world because of ignorance. " 31-38 |

Thus on Lord Balarama's persuasion, Rukmi, the son of Bhishma, left Vamansya and Rukmini was also pleased. Rukmi's wish had been in vain, he thought of going into penance, recalling the incident of his deformation when he was left alive by Balarama and Krishna. But on the refusal of the chief ministers, he gave up the idea of penance, yet did not set foot in Kundinpur again. Rukmi built an excellent town for his residence called Bhojkata. 39-41 |

The king! Surrounded by Balarama and the Yaduvanshi warriors, Lord Govinda, accompanied by Rukmini, marched to Dwarka, chanting his victory hymns. There was a huge celebration. In the month of Margashirsha, directly Srihari married Rukmini with a mouth full of taste as per Vedic rituals. Once the marriage of Rukminipati Sriharika was completed, Sri Rukmini Devi began to adorn her Rukma-temple (Suvarnamaya Bhavan). Punyavati Dwarkapuri was being decorated like Devaraja Indra's Amaravati at that time. The devotee who listens and narrates this strange story of the marriage of Bhishma-Nandini Rukmini with devotion remains enriched with splendor in this world as well and after the death, he is the partaker of Moksha. 42-45 |

Thus was completed the seventh chapter, the "Marriage of Sri Rukmini," in the Narada Bahulashva Samvad under the Dwarka Khanda in the Srigarghasamhita. 7.
