English translation

The exclamation of the gopis and the departure from them and the return to Mathura of Udhavaka.

The gopis of Barhishmatipuri said, "Ah! In the sea of doom, they ran after Mahatma Srihari in the form of Adiraja Prithu to kill the very earth that he had graciously saved. In spite of being kind, they were tempted to be cruel (so sometimes to be harsh and sometimes to be kind - this is the nature of Sriharika)? . 1.

The Latarupa Gopis said, "Mahatma Dhanvantari, the physician of the world, appeared from the sea with the Amrit Kalash in ancient times, but he did not distribute the Amrit with his own hands; but when the gods and the demons became enmity with each other and prepared for war for him, Srihari, who was envious of the Kalahapriya, disguised herself as Mohini Nari and fed the Sudha only to the gods." 2.

The Nagedrakanyarupa gopis said, "Surpanakha, seeing this Sri Hari in the form of Sri Rama in the Mahavana called Dandaka, came to them with the desire to make him her husband, but they, including Lakshmana, cut off the nose and ears of the poor man and made him ugly." What cruelty is this; what harm did he do to them? . 3.

Samudrakanyarupa Gopis said - How is Chanchala Lakshmi, who goes to hundreds of houses every day and gives happiness and sorrow to the people, staying near these Sriharis without knowing how to be her own and Sushila? . 4.

The apsara-rupa gopis said - "Sakhis! Ravana's sister had to wash her hands from her nose and ears for loving them, so leave them alone. They have been more gracious to you [that they have left their noses and ears]. 5.

The divine-looking gopis said, "These kings are omnipotent by taking sacrifices and are merciful by tying them up; despite being the heroes of liberation, they threw their devotional sacrifices down to the netherworld." I am amazed by their story. 6.

The Adivya gopis said that in earlier times, along with Shat-Rupa, Manu used to meditate calmly. They were greatly hindered by the demons at the time. It is then in their nature to come and protect them [to grieve first and to wipe away tears behind] those Dayanidhi Sriharanis. ]. 7 | (Mathurukund Chapter 16 to 20)

The sattva-vrittirupa gopis said, "Devotees Dhruva and Prahlada first suffered a lot, then they protected them with grace; our Lord does not protect anyone at first, only after suffering." 8.

The gopis of Rajogunavritti said - Rukmangada, Harishchandra, and Ambarish - it was only by testing the truth of these saint-siromani kings that Srihari granted them Bhagavati-prosperity again [Perhaps, our love is also tested]. . 9.

The black-skinned gopis said that the deceitful Sri Hari, who had deceived Vrinda in the past, was deceived by the deceitful and powerful Kunjane today. [As it turned out to be the same. ] The dagger or kirpanika is crooked on one side, yet it ambushes many people; here the kubja is crooked from three places; it has got crooked Krishna from three places, then it will ambush many, nothing can be said. Our eyes are starting to ache as we look at the path of Lord Krishna, and the duration of his arrival increases like the footsteps of Vamana. In this month of Madhava, without Madhava, the skin of our body turns yellow, our movement slows down, our feet become tired, and the mind becomes very agitated. Oh my god! At what time will we all see Nandanandan in the morning, marked by the sign of Sautke Haraka. 10-14 |

Naradji says - Rajan! Thus, in contemplation of Krishna, the loving gopis began to weep anxiously and fell to the earth, speechless. Then, after persuading all the gopis with well-meaning words, Uddhav said to Sriradha, "Assure everyone individually." 15-16 |

Uddhav said, "Absolutely! The form of Krishna! Vrishabhanuvar - Nandini! Allow me to leave. Vrajeshwari! Hello there. Good luck! Reply to his letter to Mahatma Krishna. Soon I will bring them to you by bowing down at their feet through him. 17-18 |

Srinardji says - Rajan! Radha then immediately picked up the writing and the messenger and began to reflect on the news, by which time her eyes were filled with tears. All the letters that Sriradhana took in his hands and combined them with his writing, he was drenched in the sweat of his eyes and lotus. Uddhav was amazed by Kamalanayani Radha, who was shedding tears in her desire to see Lord Krishna. 19-21 |

Uddhav said, "Shriradhe! I will narrate to you all the stories of how you write and express your sorrows without you writing them down. 22. (Mathurukund Chapter 16 to 20)

Srinardji says - Rajan! Hearing Uddhav's voice, Radha went unhindered and worshipped Uddhav with all the gopis at that time. Thereafter, after paying obeisance and circumambulating Paradevi Raseshwari Sriradha, bidding farewell to the gopis, bowing their heads repeatedly, Udhava mounted the divine chariot adorned with the Ratna Bhushan. The great pride he had in his intellect and knowledge was gone. They returned to Nandaji in the evening. At sunrise in the morning, after saluting Gopi Yashoda, Uddhav took the command of Nandaraja, met the nine Nandas, Vrishabhanus, Upanandas, others, and all Krishna's companions separately, and departed from there on a chariot. All the gopas and communities of gopis went to follow them far and wide. Uddhav returned everyone warmly and went to Mathura. Lord Krishna was sitting in a secluded place under the Akshaya Vata on the picturesque banks of the Yamuna. There, bowing to him and circumambulating him, the Supreme Being among the wise uttered words of love, shedding tears through his eyes and lotuses. 23-29 |

Uddhav said, "O God! You are a witness to all that I have to tell you. You take care of Radhika and the gopis, take care of them; give them darshan. 'I will bring Devadeveshwara Krishna to you. 'That's what I've told them. Please! Keep this promise of mine, keep it. The God of Devotees! Just as you have kept the vows of Prahlada and Rukmangadki, Bali and Khatwangki, and Ambarish and Dhruva, so keep my promise, protect it. 30-32 |

Thus was completed the eighteenth chapter in the Narada Bahulashva-Samvad under Srimadhurakhanda in the Srigarghasamhita, titled 'The Vachana of the Gopis and the Return of Uddhav to Madhura'. 18.
