Kalia suppression and wildfire by Sri Krishna
Shrinaradji says - Mithileshwar! One day, without taking Dinbalramji along, Srihari himself came to graze a cow with a bunny. Coming to the banks of the Yamuna, he drank the poisoned water, which Nagaraj Kalian had contaminated with his poison, and many cows and gopas were rendered lifeless and fell close to the water. Seeing this, Lord Sriharika, the Lord of all sins, was moved with compassion. He brought them all to life by looking at them with his eyes full of pity. Pitambar was then tied tightly around his waist. Then they climbed the kadamba tree while chanting Madhava and jumped into the poison-contaminated water from its high branch. Lord Krishna's leap made him jump up the contaminated water circle. Kalianag used to live in that part of Yamuna. As the whirlwind picked up, the building of the serpent began to spin around, like a swirl of water. Nareshwar. At that time, Phaniraja Kaliya, who had a hundred branches, became angry and covered them with his body while laughing at Madhava with his teeth. Then Sri Krishna, having enlarged his body, broke free from its bondage and began to move the serpent king around, holding his tail. Turning around, they dropped him into the water, picked him up again with both hands, and immediately threw him a hundred bows away. The dreaded Nagaraja rose again, clutching Madhava Sriharika's left hand in fury with a tongue lick. Srihari then held the giant with his right hand and pressed it into the water just as Garuda would rub a serpent. Then the serpent came to them, having spread his hundred mouths exceedingly wide. Then holding his tail, Lord Krishna pulled him away a hundred bows. Suddenly, he came out of Krishna's hand and bit him again. Seeing this, Srihari, who possessed the strength of Tribhuvan in himself, gave the serpent a punch. The serpent fainted and lost his senses due to an injury to Krishna's punch. He then stood before Krishna with a hundred faces in front of him. The light of its hundred and fifty beads seemed to be very pleasant. Lord Krishna climbed the steps and Manohar dressed up as a dancer and started dancing like a dancer. At the same time, he began to present music with rhythm, singing a raga in all seven notes. At that time, the deities showered flowers on Lord Krishna, who performed beautiful Tandavas like Nataraja, and joyfully played the veena, drum, cymbals, and flute. Drawing a deep breath, Lord Krishna broke many of the bright fountains of the great Kali. At the same time, the serpent wives, filled with fear, came and saluted Lord Krishna at his feet and began to praise him in this way through eloquent speech. 1-17 |
The nymphs cried out - God! You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the Lord of myriad universes. Our repeated salutations to you Goloknath Shrikrishnachandra. Salutations to Sri Radha Vallabha, the Supreme Lord of Vraja. Salutations to Lala and Yashodhanandan of Nanda. Oh dear God! You protect this serpent, protect it. Of the three worlds, no one is going to give it refuge except you. You yourself are the transcendent Sri Hari and freely enlarge various types of Sri-Grahas with grace. 18-20 |
By now, says Srinardji, the pride of Kalianag was crushed. After this hymn performed by the serpent wives, he said to Lord Krishna - 'God! The perfect God! Protect me Saying 'Pahi-Pahi', Kalianag came before Lord Srihari and fell at his feet. Then said Janardhana to him. 21-22 |
The Lord said - Go to Ramanakadvipa with your wives and friends. My footprints are on your foreheads, so the eagle will no longer feed you. 23. (Vrindavan Khand Chapter 11 to 15)
Naradji says - Rajan! The serpent then, after worshipping and circumambulating Lord Krishna and paying obeisance to him, left for Ramanakadvipa with his wife and sons. All the Gopas, including the Nandas, had come to hear the news that "Nandanandana has been adopted by Kaliyanaga." They were all very happy to see Lord Krishna coming out of the water. With his son in his chest, Nandaji plunged into ecstasy. Yashoda, having found his lost son, donated the wealth to the Brahmins for their welfare. At that time, their breasts were shedding milk due to overindulgence. The king! On that day, all the Gopas along with the Gopanganas and the Gwal-Khas slept at the same place near the Yamuna due to excessive labour at night. In due course, the brush of bamboo revealed a wildfire resembling a holocaust, spreading from all sides as if to burn cows. At that time, Gopa of Mitrakoti, along with Balarama, went to the refuge of Lord Krishna and spoke with both hands joined in fear. 24-30 |
The gopas said - "Sharanagatvatsala Mahabahu Krishna! Krishna! O Lord! Save your loved ones in the midst of a forest fire! Save it! Oh! . 31.
Naradji says - then Yogeshwara Deva Madhava said to him - 'Do not be afraid. Close your eyes, each of you. With that, they drank all the wildfire themselves. Then, in the morning, Nandananda, with the amazed gopas and cows, came to the splendid celestial abode. 32-33 |
