Bhanuke's slaying of Rang-Pingka; Pradyumna and Shishupala's fierce battle and Pradyumna's victory over Chedidesha

Says Srinardji - Rajan. Having said this, the enemy Sudan Bhanu, carrying a shield sword, entered the enemy army on foot just as the wild elephant enters the forest. Bhanu cut off the arms of the enemy warriors with his sword. Elephants and horses would also cut them in two with their swords when they met at or near the front. They wandered and adorned themselves in that battlefield, piercing the enemy. His other companion was only a sword. Just as the Sun God manifests with his radiance even when covered by fog and clouds, so Viravara Bhanu was exhibiting his distinctive radiance even when surrounded by enemies. 1 - 7.

Mithileshwar! The pearls from the heads of the elephants whose Kumbhsthalas were cut off by the Bhanuke Sword fell to the battlefield in the same manner as the stars (luminous forms) of the heavenly beings fell to the earth from the horizon when the virtues were diminished. In that battlefield, Mahabali defeated the enemy army by sight (with blink of an eye) and ascended to the top of the Rang and Ping. Bhanu destroyed the chariots of Ranga and Ping with the sword given by Lord Krishna and broke their horses, including the charioteers, into two pieces each. Then the mighty knight Rang and Pingne also took the sword and struck Bhanu. But as soon as Bhanuki reached the slope, both of them broke their swords. Bhanuki's sword wound caused Rang and Ping's head to fall simultaneously on the battlefield. It was a wonderful thing that happened. The victorious Veera Bhanu came before Pradyumna with the heads of colours and feathers admired by the generals. At that time, along with human antics, god antics were also played. There was cheering all over the place. The gods and goddesses showered the flowers. Hearing the news of Ranga and Pingke being killed, Shishupala's fury knew no bounds. He mounted a victorious chariot and went before the Yadavas. He was accompanied by many gigantic Gajrajas, flowing with wine, laden with gold pots, and adorned with jewelled blankets (carpets or swings), the cacophony of whose moving hours stretched far and wide. With chariots adorned like the vimana of the gods, tunnels as fast as the wind, and mighty heroes like Vidyadharas, he walked on the earth chanting. 8-13 |

O Lord! Seeing the arrival of Shishupala's army, the best of the archers, Srikrishna Kumar Pradyumna, mounted the chariot given to him by Indra and marched ahead to face him. He blew his conch shell, echoing all directions and the sky. A king who respected others! The sound of the conch shell made the enemy's heart skip a beat. Shishupala's large army was as inaccessible as a royal palace or a royal fort. Rukmininandan Pradyugna suddenly made an arrow step to enter it. Damghoshanandana the wise Shishupala repeatedly struck the bow and struck the Brahmastra, which he had learned from Dattatreya. On the battlefield, Rukmininandan Pradyumna also used the Brahmastra to playfully destroy the enemy with the weapon as he saw its fiery radiance spread everywhere. O Lord! Then Mahavudhi Man Shishupala used the Angara weapon, which was given to him by Jamadagninandan Parashurama on Mount Mahendra. Pradyumna's army was deeply disturbed by the shower of coals from the weapon. Then Srikrishna Kumar used the Mahadivya rain weapon. Thick streams of water started falling from it through clouds, so all the coal was burnt. Shishupala then became enraged and meditated on Gajastra, which was taught to him by sage Agastya on Malayachala. Millions of gigantic Gajrajas began to appear with that weapon, very bizarre. He started dropping Mahatma Pradyumrak's army on the battlefield. This caused great consternation in the armies of the Yadavas. Seeing this, Pradyumna, who was racing ahead in the battle, arranged for Nrusinghastra. He was greeted by lions, who echoed their roar to the ground. His eyes were gleaming with light. They had large hairs on their necks and tails. The nails of the claws, being as large as a light feather, increased the ferocity of their appearance. Nrusingha ate the elephants in the courtyard and began to sing with a howl. Lord Nrusingha, while scattering and jumping over the elephants' mounds, killed the entire herd of elephants and disappeared there. Then Mahabali Sishupala furiously ran the circumambulation. But Madhava Pradyumna killed it with a yam stick and cut it into two pieces. Then there was no end to the wrath of Chediraj Sisupala. He attacked Pradyumna with a shield and a sword as if the kite were breaking open towards the blazing fire. Krishna-Kumara swiftly struck his sword with a yam-danda, cutting it into pieces along with the shield. Yadaveshwara Pradyumra then suddenly began dragging Damghoshaputra Shishupala into the battlefield by tying him with a rope given to him by Varuna. Now he angrily took up the sword to do all the work of the child keeper. Just then, Gaddane sped ahead and grabbed both of their hands. 14-31 |

The donkey spoke - Rukmininandan! It is going to be killed at the hands of the most perfect Mahatma, Shri Krishna; so do not kill it and lie to the gods. 32.

Naradji says - Rajan! There was a huge commotion when Shishupal was taken away from the dam. At that time, Chediraj Damghosh appeared before Pradyumna with a gift. Seeing them, Pradyumna quickly threw away his weapons and moved on. He paid obeisance to Chediraja by placing his head at his feet. Maharaj Damghosh met Mahatma Pradyumna and spoke eloquently, blessing him. 33-35 |

Damghosh said - Yadav - Shiromane Pradyumna! You are blessed. Oh my goodness! Forgive my son the sins that he has committed. 36. (Vishwajitkhand chapter 6 to 10)

Sri Pradyumna said, "O Lord! It is not my fault, nor yours, nor your son's fault. Whatever is dear or unpleasant, I consider to be done by Kalka. 37.

Naradji says - Rajan! At the behest of Pradyumna, King Damghosa released Shishupala, who had been bound by him, and accompanied him to Chandrikapuri. Almost no king dared to wage war with Pradyumna after hearing the news of his mighty prowess, which was as brilliant as that of Lord Krishna himself. All of them silently made offerings in his service. 38-39 |

Thus, the Narada Bahulashva-Samvada under the Vishwajit Khanda in the Srigarghasamhita completed a new chapter titled "The Slaying of Rang-Pingka, the Battle of Shishupala, and the Conquest of Chedidesha." 9.
