English translation

At the behest of Lord Krishna, he went to Udhavaka Vraja and requested his comrades like Sridama to mourn his separation from Lord Krishna.

Bahulashva asked - Munishreshtha. What further actions did Yadu-Kula-Tilaka Krishna take by granting residence to his kinsmen and caste-brothers in Mathurapuri? . 1.

Narada said, "O king! The most perfect Lord, Bhaktavatsal Krishna, remembered Gokul, a miserly Gokul full of gopis and gopas. So one day in solitude, calling his fellow devotee Uddhav, the Lord spoke in a loving voice. 2-3.

The Lord spoke and said, "O Lord! Make a quick visit to the beautiful Vrajmandal, adorned with lush greenery and a community of vines. Enjoy the splendor of Govardhan and Yamuna in the enchanting Vrindavan and Gokul filled with gopas and gopis. Friend! One of my letters is to Nanda Baba and the other is to Yashoda Maiya. Come on! The third letter is to visit Sridhara in her beautiful temple and the fourth is to give my good fortune-telling request to my fellow Gwalbals. Similarly, hundreds of highly enthralled youth of Gopanganas are to be given separate letters. My father Nandraj is very kind. His heart is fixed on me and my aunt Yashoda remembers me for calling her soon. Thou art a scholar of ethics; thou shalt put my utmost love in the hearts of them both by telling them beautiful things. Radhika, my soulmate, is longing for my separation and sees the world as empty without me. All those who are suffering because of my separation, calm them down with my messages, for you are very skilled at communicating. Sudama Adi Gwal-Baal is my dear friend. Without my friend, they are also desperate, you should also give them happiness like a friend. I will be coming to Shrivraj-Dham in a short while. The coworkers are distraught by the pain of my separation. His mind is fixed on me. His body and soul are also in me. The Minister - Pravara! How can I not provide for those who have given up their world and their afterlife for me? Udhava! They were about to sacrifice their lives when I arrived. She still lives with great difficulty to this day. Mayst thou quench their mental anguish arising out of my separation by my messages and words; for thou art most skilled in the art of conversation. Come on! Take with you the chariot that I came from Vraj, the chariot on which I came earlier, equipped with the same horses, chariots, and bells ringing. Create a form similar to mine. Now also wear Pitambar, Vyjayanthi Mala, Sahastradal Lotus, Kundal adorned with divine gems, and Kaustubhamani illuminated like Koti Balravis. Take also my high-pitched graceful flute and the flower-decorated Jaganmohini Yashti (stick). Udhava! Dress in a Natvara-vesha with beautiful sandalwood, peacock feathers, and ringing nupurs, enveloped in the same divine fragrance as mine. In the same way, put on the crown of my own peacock feather and my bracelets on both sides, and go as fast as you can at my command. 4-14 | (Mathurukhand Chapter 11 to 15)

Naradji says - Rajan! When Lord Krishna said this, Uddhav quickly bowed before him with folded hands, and after circumambulating him, he mounted a chariot and proceeded towards Vraj, where hundreds of beautiful cows adorned with divine ornaments looked like white mountains. They were all milkmaids (kalor), Sushila, Surupa, and Sagunavati. They also had calves with them. The hair on his tail was yellow. His sculptures looked very grand when he was walking. There were bells and bells ringing in the air. They were surrounded by a web of kinkinis (miniature bells). Many of the cows were of the same colour as gold. Their horns were studded with gold and adorned with a variety of necklaces and garlands, the glow of the cows was palpable everywhere. Some were red, some green, some copper, some yellow, some shyama, and some Chitkabari. Purple and cuckoo-to-black cows were also seen in the procession. This means that cows of many colors were reflected in that wetland. She was as abundant a milk-giver as the sea. They were adorned with deer-like quartet calves adorned with hand prints of young women. In those herds of cows, large bulls were seen moving around, their shoulders and horns were large. All of them were well-known religious figures. The Gopas were armed with cane sticks and flutes. His limbs looked dark. He was singing Shrikrishna Leelas aloud in ragas that captivated even the Kamadevas. Seeing Udhava coming from a distance, thinking him to be Krishna, the children of Vraja said this to each other out of greed for the sight of Lord Krishna. 15-23 |

Gop said, "Friend! These Nandanandans are coming, who are our dear comrades; no doubt they are. They are adorned with cloud-like shyama kanti, pitambar on the body, vaijayanti garland around the neck and gemstone kundal in the ears. Kaustubhamani on the thorax, round and round in the hands is giving a strong grace. The thousands of lotuses in their hands are wearing the same crown on their foreheads, which despises the brilliance of millions of kites. They are the same horse and the same kinkini is the chariot mounted on it. Baldevji is not there on this chariot, only Nandanandan is seen. 24-26 | (Mathurukund Chapter 11 to 15)

Naradji says - Vidhehraj! While talking, Sridama and Gopala came from around the chariot to Uddhava, the Krishna-sachet, in the form of Krishna himself. As he came closer, he said, 'Lord Krishna is not there; but who is this man with the exact same form as him? Speaking in this manner, saluting the cattle, Uddhav took them all to heart and began a discussion of his master, Shyamsundar. 27-28 |

Naradji says - Rajan. Reading the letters in his hand, the children of the Vrajas like Sridama spoke in a loud voice, shedding many tears. 31.

Thus was completed the thirteenth chapter in the Narada Bahulashva-Samvad under Srimathurakhanda in the Srigarghasamhita, titled "The Arrival of Uddhav." 13.
