English translation
The fierce battle of Yadava-Sena and Yaksha-Sena
Srinardji says - Rajan! As darkness fell over the area from the shower of weapons, Mahabali Manigriva initiated the destruction of the enemy vessel with arrows, just as one would destroy a friendship with a katuvachana. Damaged by Manigriva's arrows, elephants, horses, chariots, and infantry began to topple the uprooted trees of the storm. At that time, the mighty son of Krishna and Satyabhama, Chandrabhanu, shot five arrows and broke the staff of Manigriva, and with ten arrows, the mighty Chandrabhanu pierced his chariot and roared like a cube. Seeing this, Manigriva also channeled his energy towards Chandrabhanupara. Maithil! That force fell like a very heavy meteor, illuminating all directions; but Chandrabhanu, playing a game, caught it with his left hand. He wounded Mahabali Manigriva on the battlefield with the same force. Mahabali and Chandrabhanu then roared back into the battlefield. Manigriva was crushed by the impact and fell to the earth. Then, at the instigation of Nalakubara, the Asuras spread a web of arrows and covered the moon just as the clouds cover the rainy sun. 1 - 7.
Then Krishna's son, Deeptiman, with a sword in his hand, entered the army of the Yakshas with great speed as if the sun had entered the fog. Many Yakshas were cut into two pieces by the stroke of their swords; many fell to the earth in battle with their heads, feet, shoulders, arms, hands, ears, and lips shattered. Their severed heads, including crowns, coils, and helmets, were strewn with blood, and the battlefield covered by them looked like a pandemic. The wounded Yakshas, who survived the death, fled in terror. Mithileshwar! At that time, there was an uproar among the Yaksha soldiers. 8-12 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 21 to 25)
Then the armor-wielding Kalakubar, bowing, mounted on a chariot with a very high flag, arrived and, saying, "Do not be afraid," began to give shelter to his soldiers. Nalakubara struck Kritavarma with five arrows, Arjuna with ten, and Deeptiman with twenty. The king. Mahabahu Kritavarman then severely injured Nalakubara with five whistles, chanting all directions with his lion voice. The arrows pierced through the body, tearing through the tubular shell and penetrating the ground in the same manner as serpents do into bamboo. Sarathi Hemamali removed Kritavarma from the battlefield on seeing that Nalakubara was moustached due to a fractured limb from his arrow. These two ministers of Kubera, Ghantanada and Parshvamouli, started wounding the formidable Yadava army with their arrows and clubs. With golden wings and a sharp mouth, both of which had bead-like velocities, their arrows radiated the same directions as the rays of the sun. 13-19 |
Subsequently, Mahavira Arjuna started shooting a lot of arrows at the arrows of those ministers. The clash of the two and the moving arrows caused thousands of fluttering (fireballs) to appear on the battlefield. O Lord! They shone like clouds in the sky, twinkling and twinkling like a wheel of light. Arjuna, the valiant warrior Gandivadhari, cut through all the arrows left by the Gandiv bow in a jiffy. He made a cage-like enclosure of two yojanas from the community of arrows and forcibly took the chariots with the flags of the two ministers inside the enclosure. Knowing that they were both killed, all the pious people (Yakshas) immediately left the battle and fled in panic. 20-23 |
At the same time, millions of demons came to the battlefield. The king! Millions of witches began to pick up and throw elephants into the battlefield. People, horses, and chariots were put in separate mouths and chewed. Behind each of the humans was a ghost. Ten ghosts seemed to run with the decade. The chieftains struck and killed people repeatedly with their clubs. The elephants were chewing on the ants in the battlefield. The Vetals carried a lot of blood in their skulls and drank it, Vinayaka danced and sang ghosts. Kushmanda and Manasa used to collect fallen heads on that battlefield. That collection of the heads of the departed heroes by him was to make a mundamala to Lord Shiva. Matrugana, Brahmarakshasa, and Bhairava laughed, laughed, and laughed in that battle, repeatedly tossing the severed heads like balls. The monstrous-faced vampires were leaping wildly. The vampires fed hot blood to the children in battle and reassured the children saying 'Son! Don't cry We will make you remove the eyes of these people as well. 24-31 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 21 to 25)
Thus, seeing the power of the demons increase, Baldev's younger brother Balwan Gada, holding a mace in his hand, roared like a cloud. Gadane, the million-dollar Maorvi donkey, killed the giant demon army in the same manner as Indra Vajras knocked down the mountains. Many Kushmandas, Manias, Vetals, Vampires, and Brahmarakshas fell to the ground moustached due to the severed heads of the Gadakis. The donkeys broke the teeth of the witches in the battlefield, tore the shoulders of the heads, and tore the mouths of the warriors. The king! The ghosts trampled by the bull ran in all ten directions, just as the demons had fled in the sea of the holocaust due to a fracture in the jaw of Lord Varaha. 32-36 |
Veerabhadra came to the fore when the demons escaped. The mighty Bhoothanatha killed Baldev's younger brother Gada with a mace. Gada stopped his mace on his mace and then ran his mace over it. Maithileshwar! A fierce duel ensued between Virabhadra and Gadam. Both of those maces crashed into each other, releasing sparks of fire. Then a fight broke out between the two of them, challenging each other. They started fighting by knocking down mountains with blows to their arms, knees and legs. Virbhadra forcibly uprooted Mount Karveer and threw it on a donkey, causing a ruckus. The donkey caught the mountain and then killed it on top of it. The mighty Virabhadra then captured the heroic donkey and hurled it high into the sky. The donkey felt a bit uneasy as she fell to the ground. Mahabali's donkey then picked up Veerabhadra as well and hurriedly spun and soon threw him away too. Virabhadra fell on the top of Mount Kailash. He was struck by a donkey and fell unconscious for two hours. 37-45 |
Swamikartike, who then assumed power, reached the battlefield with great speed. He quickly turned his power around by targeting Aniruddha and Sambako. By piercing Aniruddha's chariot, wounding Samba, and even breaking his chariot, the force struck the battlefield, killing thousands of elephants, chariots, and millions of heroes and engulfing it in a land like a serpent that shines in ten directions and pulsates like lightning. Then, in a fit of rage, Mahabahu Jambavatikumar Samba drew an arrow out of the arrow, shouting Pratyanchaka. Even though the arrow was one, it became ten as soon as it came out of the arrow. He assumed a hundred forms while placing on the bow and a thousand while drawing. The arrow took on a million forms as it left, and took on a koti form as it reached its targets. Thus, the many-figured Vishikhena injured Shikhi (peafowl) and Shikhi Vahana Swamikartike and scattered millions of heroes in the battlefield. 46-51 | (Vishwajitkhand chapter 21 to 25)
Ganeshwara Gajanan, riding a mouse, arrived when Kartikeya was wounded and in some agony. At his Kumbhsthal, strange letters were composed of cow urine, vermilion, and musk. Her beautiful curvature was surrounded by vermilion. She had a very charming aura because of her vermilion eyelashes. The bright color of the ears was as if polished with camphor dust. The bewilderment that washed over their foreheads, whose limbs were twinkling with help, struck by their fidgety karnatals, echoed, as if creating music, rhythm, and vasantika ragas. Ganapati, the bearer of the moon, was exquisitely adorned with the honey. His limbs were as radiant as those of a ball. He had a serene ring in his arms, a necklace around his neck, and a smile, and the rays of the crown on his head made him look radiant on all sides. They were seated on top of a mouse. He had only one tooth in his mouth. The majestic statue of Gajakar was in splendor. He was holding a chain, a stick, a lotus, and an axe in his hands. He was of high stature. He had four arms. They were engaged in a fierce struggle. Some armed men were paraded off with their spears wrapped in a noose. He looked like Sri Parashurama, slaying all the armed men with a multi-edged sword. They were throwing away from the battlefield by crushing the Chaturangini army, consisting of foot soldiers, elephants, horses, and chariot groups, and capturing the Sambakos along with the chariots. Seeing them, Pradyumna, including the Yadavas, was greatly astonished. He said this to his most intelligent son Aniruddha. 52-57 |
Thus was completed the twenty-fourth chapter of the Narada Bahulashva-Samvada, the description of the Yaksha-Yuddha under the Vishwajit Khanda in the Srigargha Samhita. 24.
