A brief description of the plays of the first half of the Sri Krishna avatar.
Thus, states Sutaji, King Vajranabha was pleased to hear the story of the Srigar Samhita from Gargamuni's mouth. He bowed at the feet of Guru Gargacharya and said to him: "Prabu! Munishreshtha All my sorrows were taken away from the charu character of Lord Krishna that I heard from your face today. Kripanatha. I'm feeling a sense of revulsion after hearing this story; so I'm looking forward to hearing more about the success of Sriharike. Kindly describe the supreme character of Lord Krishna. Oh no! I had heard some things in the past about the first Ashvamedha Yajna ritual performed by Maharaja Ugrasena at Dwarakama. Tell me the full story or character of that Ashwamedha Yajna. Munishwar! Compassionate teachers reveal secrets to their devoted disciples and sons without even asking them. " 1 - 5.
Sutaji says that Yadukulguru Gargamuni was very pleased to hear such a word from Vajranabhaka and spoke to the king in this manner, remembering Sriharike Yugalacharanaravindoka. 6 | (Ashwamedh Khand Chapter 1 to 5)
Gargji said, "Yadav Shrestha! Blessed are you, for you have had such unwavering devotion at the feet of Lord Shrikrushna Chandra, which is rare for other human beings. It is a matter of great fortune that that devotion is easily accessible to you. The king! Listen to the ancient history I am telling you on this subject. By simply listening to Him, a person is freed from all sins. The king! Suffering from the burden of sinners in Dwapara, Vasundhara expressed her grief to Brahma. Hearing this, Brahma went to Srihariki's refuge where he narrated all the sufferings of the earth. Hearing all this, Sri Vidhyavallabha Krishna assured Vasudha and decided to lift his load with the help of the gods. 7-10 |
Vasudeva was then married to Devaki by Mathurama; then there was Akashvani, a warning to Kansa. Kansa, upon learning of his slaying Devaki's son, killed her six sons in succession. O Lord! Kansa began to feel a sense of dread, and in the spirit of that fear, he saw Krishna-hee-Krishna everywhere. The Lord then commanded Yogamaya, according to which he circumcised Devaki's womb and placed it in Rohini's womb, and she herself appeared as a maiden from Yashoda's womb. Here, the Lord appeared in the womb of Devaki and was praised by the gods Brahma and others. Then came the advent of Lord Krishna. The divine reflection of the form of God Balakrishna is described by the sage Veda-Vyasa. Vasudeva glorified that divine form of God. Jagadishwara Krishna described the pious deeds related to the previous life of Devaki and Vasudeva. Subsequently, as per the divine command, Vasudevji brought Balakrishna to Gokul and took Yashoda's daughter from there. Kansa stoned the maiden to death; but she flew into the sky and told Kansa, 'Your time has appeared somewhere.' Things happened like going near Kansaka and consoling Vasudeva Devaki and freeing Vasudeva from bondage with his wife. Kansa caused evil spells in the court of the daityas and an uproar against the saintly men and children. 11-14 |
On the arrival of Lord Krishna in Braj, a grand celebration was held in the palace of Brajraj Nanda. Nandarayaji went to Mathura to make an offering to King Kansa and there he met Vasudevji. On the other hand, the Lord drank the souls of Putana, who had come to Gokul to be breastfed with poisoned milk, with her milk. The Nanda Gopas, who had returned from Mathura, were astonished to see his dead corpse. Then one day, after a slight trauma to Lord Krishna's legs, the chakra filled with milk and curd turned upside down. A demon named 'Grasshopper' in a whirlwind-form was killed by baby Krishna. One day, Maiya was pampering Yashoda Baal-Krishna. Just then, he was born and had a vision of the world in his mother's face. This was followed by the naming ceremonies of Balarama and Krishna. Then in Brajbhumi, these two brothers started having children's games. The houses of the gopanganas were entered and played with cunning behaviour - stealing yogurt and butter. Incidentally, one day he ate clay and showed the entire world to his mother. In the context of how Nanda and Yashoda had access to the joys of nurturing Krishna, there was a discussion of the auspicious past lives of the two. The theft of butter, the forceful binding of trees called 'Yamalarjuna' to the waist with a rope, the dissolution of their curse, the praise of God by both of them, the chanting of children's games, Upananda, etc., the journey from there to Vrindavan, the grazing of calves with their peers there, the slaying of Vatsasura, Vakasura, and Aghasura in the same context, the complimentary food on the Sriharika Yamunata with the companions, the killing of calves and calves by Brahma, the becoming of Krishna's own calves and calves, the departure of Brahma and then the return to praise God upon the cessation of infatuation, the journey of Krishna with his cowherd children to vihara and vraja, 15-23 | (Ashwamedh Khand Chapter 1 to 5)
Thus was completed the second chapter titled 'Description of the pastimes of Lord Krishna' in the Ashvamedha Charitra Sumerum in the Srigarghasamhita. 2.
