Yadava victory over Uttarakuruvarsha; tribute to Pradyumna by King Gunakar at Varahipuri

Srinardji says - Rajan! After this, Mahabahu Pradyumna went to a land called Uttarakuru, the latter of Sumeruke and of peculiar prosperity, situated near Mount Shringavan. There, after bathing in the Ganges named 'Bhadra', he reached Warahinagari, where the emperor Chakravarti, the ruler of Kuruvarsha, ruled in succession. 1-2.

King Gunakarana had begun the ritual of Dasarva Ashvamedha Yajna by accumulating a large amount of material and being surrounded by the Devarishigas. He had left behind a beautiful white black horse and his son, Viradhanva, had come out to protect that horse. The mighty Mahavira Viradhanva was wandering with an army of ten Akshauhins while tending to the horse. The ten sons of Vira, Chandra, Sen, Chitragu, Vegavan, Ama, Shanku, Vasu, Sriman, and Kunti Nagragrajiti surrounded the white horse from all sides and, full of joy, said, 'Whose abandoned horse is this?' While saying this, Pradyumna came to Pradyumna's army and was amazed to read the letter on his forehead. All the Yadavas were in awe with fine weapons in their hands. 3 - 8.

Then, at the instigation of Sri Krishnakumar Pradyumna, Udhavaji immediately arrived in the army of Virdhanvaki, seated on a chariot, multiplied and bowed to his son, the sun-like Tejaswi Virdhanvaki, and said to him: "Rajan! Indra Dwarkadheesh, Yadukula Bhusana Maharaja Ugrasena of the Bhupalas would conquer the kings of Jambudvipa and perform the Rajasuya Yajna. Inspired by him, Pradyumna, the best of the archers, has conquered Bharata-varsha, Kimpurusha-varsha, and Hari-varsha and arrived in the post-Kuru-varsha. The lord of Uttarakuruvarsha will also make a gift to Mahatma Pradyumna. Kubera has also worshipped Pradyumna, who came with ten Akshauhini armies, so you should also give a gift to Mahatma Pradyumna. Who else on earth has the power to take back the sacrificial animals they have tied up? His assistant is directly Lord Srikrishna Chandra. If you give gifts and honor them, it will be good; otherwise war is inevitable. " 12-17 |

Viradhanvane said, "Devraj Indra has also worshipped Rajadhiraja Gunakar, so he will not give an offering to Mahatma Pradyumna." Lord Varaha is present on the picturesque peak, whom the goddess Bhumidevi always serves with utmost reverence. In their territory, the king has meditated attentively on the multiplying god Varaha. Satisfied with the completion of ten thousand years, Lord Hari, bearing the form of Varaha, said to his devotee king, "Ask for a boon. The king saluted Srihariko and exclaimed, "O God! May there be no other gods, demons, or men besides thee to conquer me on the earth, that is my desired boon. Then the Lord disappeared there, saying, 'Tathastu.' Therefore, the king should give up the horse as his own, in the form of a multiplier. Otherwise, I will wage war with you, there is no doubt. 18-24 |

Srinardji says - Rajan! Upon being told this by Virdhanvake, Uddhav quickly arrived in his army and narrated to the Yadava court what had happened there. Then these ten sons of Shrutakarma, Vrisha, Vira, Subahu, Bhadra, Ekala, Shanti, Darsha, Poornamasa, and Somaka-Kalindi came forward for the battle with the ten Akshauhini armies in view of Pradyumna. Then the Yadavas and the Veeras engaged in a fierce battle with the mighty Uttarkurus, as if the two seas had collided. The glittering arsenals gave way to a grandeur of valour and valour. In an instant a great river of blood flowed. Rajendra! That river of blood stretched for a hundred yojanas. Then the people of Uttarkuru, who had survived the death, fled, just as the clouds split as autumn approached. 25-30 |

Mahavira Purnamasa, the powerful son of Kalindi, smashed the chariot of Viradhanva with his arrows. Virdhanva, despite being chariot-less, repeatedly shot the bow with twenty arrows on the full moon of Mahabali, but Purnamasa himself shot the arrow and cut the twenty arrows into two pieces each. Rajendra! The bridegroom also shot an arrow, cutting off the solemn voice of the full moon in the same manner as one would sever a friendship with bitterness. Then Mahabali took a huge mace weighing a hundred thousand full months and immediately killed Virdhanvapar. Upset by the mace's blow, the drunken warrior Viradhanva struck Sri Krishna's son Purnima with a spade. Then the full moon rose and uprooted a mountain called Pavan. Then Sriharikumar turned the mountain with both hands and hurled it swiftly into Varahipuri. Virdhanva was on the same mountain, so he also multiplied with it and fell into the sacrificial place and bled his face and became moustache. Their combat momentum had been lost. 31-39 |

At that time, there was a great commotion in Varahipuri. The cries of the gods and of men were kindled. The gods showered flowers on the full moon. Seeing that his son was moustached, the king multiplied and rose from the altar, and with his divine staff he considered war. Munindra Vamadeva, the greatest and all-knowing scholar among the Dharmajñas, was present at the yajna. Seeing that he was about to go to war, Vamadeva asked him. 40-42 |

Vamadeva said, "O king! You do not know that the Supreme Personality of Godhead has descended into Yadukula to accomplish the great work of the Sri Hari Devas. They descend into Yadukula and reside directly in Lord Dwarkapuri to unload the earth and protect the devotees. The same Lord Krishna has sent his son Yadweshwara Pradyumna to conquer the whole world for the accomplishment of the sacrifice of Ugrasena. 43-44 |

The multiplier is said to be Brahman. Thou art the highest of the supreme beings; therefore, tell me the attributes of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Shri Krishna. 45. (Vishwajitkhand chapter 26 to 30)

Vamadeva said, "He in whose radiance all other radiance is absorbed, is directly called the Supreme Personality of Godhead Srihari." These are the five distinctions of fraction, fraction, impulse, art, and full-incarnation. Sages like Vyasa called it the sixth most perfect element. The most perfect is directly Lord Krishna, not the other; for He has accomplished a million deeds by coming to one task. 46-48 |

Srinardji says - Rajan! Hearing of Krishna's greatness, the king renounced enmity and came to see Pradyumna with gifts. After circumambulating Srikrishna Kumar, the king saluted him and, after presenting him with a gift, he spoke in an eloquent voice, shedding tears. 49-50 |

He said to multiply, "Lord." Today, my birth was a success. Today is my holiest day in the world. All my works and all my actions today were accomplished by your vision. Paresh. Oh dear! Devotion to your feet is the ultimate form. May we ever have that supreme devotion of yours with the saints. He is the true devotee-Vatsal Bhagavan who bestows grace on His devotees. You protect me, protect me. 51-52 |

Srinardji says - Rajan! Pleased with this, Bhaktavatsala Srikrishna Kumara returned the horse of Ashwamedha Yajna to the king. 54.

Thus was completed the twenty-eighth chapter in the Narada Bahulashva Samvad under the Vishwajit Khanda in the Srigargha Samhita, titled 'The Victory of the Yadavas over the Uttarakuruvarsha'. 28.
