Sourceत्रयोदशो’ध्यायः इत्य् एवꣳ मनु-विग्रहꣳ मधु-रिपुꣳ यो वा त्रिकालꣳ यजेत् तस्यैवाखिल-जन्तु-जात-दयितस्याम्भोधिजा-वेश्मनः । हस्ते धर्म-सुखार्थ-मोक्ष-तरवः सद्-वर्ग-सम्प्रार्थिताः सान्द्रानन्द-महा-रस-द्रव-मुचो येषाꣳ फल-श्रेणयः ॥१॥ तर्पयामि पदꣳ योज्यꣳ मन्त्रान्ते स्वेषु नामसु । द्वितीयान्तेषु तु ततः पूजा-शेषꣳ समापयेत् ॥२॥ अभ्युक्ष्य तत्-प्रसादाद्भिर् आत्मानꣳ प्रपिबेद् अपः । तज् जप्त्वा तम् अथोद्वास्य तन्-मयः प्रजपेन् मनुम् ॥३॥ अथ द्रव्याणि काम्येष् वक्ष्यन्ते तर्पणेषु तु । तानि प्र्क्त-विधानानाम् आश्रित्यान्यतरꣳ भजेत् ॥४॥ विꣳशतिर् अष्टोपेता काल-त्रय-तर्पणेषु सङ्ख्योक्ता । भूयः स्वक्¸अल-विहितान् सकऋत् तर्पयेच् च परिवारान् ॥५॥ प्रातर् दधि-गुड-मिश्रꣳ मध्याह्ने पायसꣳ स-नवनीतम् । क्षीरꣳ तृतीय-काले ससितोपलम् इत्य् उदीरितꣳ द्रव्यम् ॥६॥ तर्पयामि-पदꣳ योज्यꣳ मन्त्रान्ते स्वेषु नामसु । द्वितीयान्तेषु तु ततः पूजाशेषꣳ समापयेत् ॥७॥ अभ्युक्ष्य तत्-प्रसादाद्भिर् आत्मानꣳ प्रतिवेदपः । तज् जप्त्वा तम् अथोद्वास्य तन्-मयः प्रजपेन् मनुम् ॥८॥ अथ द्रव्याणि काम्येषु वक्ष्यन्ते तर्पणेषु तु । तानि प्रोक्त-विधानानाम् आश्रित्यान्यतरꣳ भजेत् ॥९॥ द्रव्यैः षोडशभिर् अमु प्रतर्पयेद् एकशश् चतुर्-वारम् । स चतुः-क्षीराद्य्-अन्तैः सकृज्-जलाद्य्-अन्तम् अच्युतꣳ भक्त्या ॥१०॥ पायस-दाधिक-कृसरङ्गौडान्नपयोदधीनि नवनीतम् । आज्यꣳ कदलीमोचारजस्वलाचोचमोदकापूपम् ॥११॥ पृथुकꣳ लाजोपेतꣳ द्रव्याणाꣳ कथितम् इह षोडशकम् । लाजान्ते’न्त्य-क्षीरात् प्राक् समर्प्य सितोपला-पुञ्जैः ॥१२॥ प्रगे चतुः-सप्तति-वारम् इत्य् अमुꣳ प्रतर्पयेद् यो’नुदिनꣳ नरो हरिम् । अनन्यधीस् तस्य समस्त-सम्पदः करे स्थिता मण्डलतो’भिवाञ्छिताः ॥१३॥ धारोष्ण-पक्व-पयसी-दधि-नवनीते घृतꣳ च दौग्धान्नम् । मत्स्यण्डी-मध्व्-अमृतꣳ द्वादशशः तर्पयेन् नवभिर् एभिः ॥१४॥ तर्पण-विधिर् अयम् अपरः पूर्वोदित-सम-फलो’ष्तश-सङ्ख्यः । कार्मणकर्मणि कीर्तौ जन-सꣳवनने विशेषतो विहितः ॥१५॥ सखण्ड-धारोष्ण-धियामुकुन्दꣳ व्रजन् पुर-ग्रामम् अपि प्रतर्प्य । लभेत भोज्यꣳ सरसꣳ स-भृत्यैर् वासाꣳसि धान्यानि धनानि मन्त्री ॥१६॥ यावत् सन्तर्पयेन् मन्त्री तावत्-सङ्ख्यꣳ जपेन् मनुम् । तर्पणेनैव कार्याणि साधयेद् अखिलान्य् अपि ॥१७॥ द्विजोभिक्षावृत्तिर् य इह दिनशो नन्द-तनयः स्वयꣳ भूत्वा भिक्षाम् अटति विहरन् गोप-सुदृशाम् । अमा चेतोभिः स्व्वैर् ललित-ललितैर् नर्म-विधिभिर् दधि-क्सीराज्याढ्याꣳ प्रचुरतर-भिक्षाꣳ स लभते ॥१८॥ मध्ये कोणेषु षट्स्व् अप्य् अनल-पुटस्यालिखेत् कर्णिकायाꣳ कन्दर्पꣳ साध्य-युक्तꣳ विवर-गत-षड्-अर्णꣳ द्विशः केशरेषु शक्ति-श्री-पूर्वकानिद्विनवलिपिमनोरक्षराणि च्छदानाꣳ मध्ये वर्णान् दशानाꣳ दश-लिपि-मनु-वर्यस्य चैकेकशो’ब्जम् ॥१९॥ भू-सद्मनाभिवृतम् अस्रगमन्मथेन गोरोचनाभिलिखितꣳ तपनीय-सूच्या । पट्टे हिरण्य-रचिते गुलिकी-कृतꣳ तद् गोपाल-यन्त्रम् अखिलार्थदम् एतद् उक्तम् ॥२०॥ सम्पात-सिक्तम् अभिजप्तम् इदꣳ महद्भिर् धार्यꣳ जगत्-त्रय-वशीकरणैक-दक्षम् । रक्षा-यशः-सुत-मही-धन-धान्य-लक्ष्मी सौभाग्य-लिप्सुभिर् अजस्रम् अनर्घ्य-वीर्यम् ॥२१॥ भूतोन्मादापस्मृति-विष-मूर्च्छा-विभ्रम-ज्वरार्तानाम् । ध्यायन् शिरसि प्रजपेन् मन्त्रम् इमꣳ झटिति शमयितुꣳ विकृतिम् ॥२२॥ स्मर-त्रिविक्रमाक्रान्तश् चक्रीष्णाय-हृद् इत्य् असौ । षड्-अक्षरो’यꣳ सम्प्रोक्तः सर्व-सिद्धि-करो मनुः ॥२३॥ क्रोडो’ग्नि-दीप्तो मायावी-लव-लाञ्छित-मस्तकः । सैषा शक्तिः परा सूक्ष्मा नित्या सꣳवित्-स्वरूपिणी ॥२४॥ अस्थ्य्-अग्नि-गोविन्द-लवैर् लक्ष्मी-बीजꣳ समीरितम् । आभ्याम् अष्टादश-लिपिः स्याद् विꣳशत्य् अक्षरो मनुः ॥२५॥ शालग्रामे मणौ यन्त्रे मण्डले प्रतिमासु च । नित्यꣳ पूजा हरेः कार्या न तु केवल-भूतले ॥२६॥ इति जप-हुत-पूजा-तर्पणाद्यैर् मुकुन्दꣳ य इह भजति मवोर् एकम् आश्रित्य नित्यम् । स तु सुचिरम् अयत्नात् प्राप्य भोगान् विशेषान् पुनर् अमलतरन्तद्धाम विष्णोः प्रयाति ॥२७॥ इति श्री-नारद-पञ्चरात्रे ज्ञानामृत-सारे तृतीय-रात्रे त्रयोदशो’ध्यायः ॥१३॥ …
trayodaśo’dhyāyaḥ ity evaṁ manu-vigrahaṁ madhu-ripuṁ yo vā trikālaṁ yajet tasyaivākhila-jantu-jāta-dayitasyāmbhodhijā-veśmanaḥ | haste dharma-sukhārtha-mokṣa-taravaḥ sad-varga-samprārthitāḥ sāndrānanda-mahā-rasa-drava-muco yeṣāṁ phala-śreṇayaḥ ||1|| tarpayāmi padaṁ yojyaṁ mantrānte sveṣu nāmasu | dvitīyānteṣu tu tataḥ pūjā-śeṣaṁ samāpayet ||2|| abhyukṣya tat-prasādādbhir ātmānaṁ prapibed apaḥ | taj japtvā tam athodvāsya tan-mayaḥ prajapen manum ||3|| atha dravyāṇi kāmyeṣ vakṣyante tarpaṇeṣu tu | tāni prkta-vidhānānām āśrityānyataraṁ bhajet ||4|| viṁśatir aṣṭopetā kāla-traya-tarpaṇeṣu saṅkhyoktā | bhūyaḥ svak¸ala-vihitān sakaṛt tarpayec ca parivārān ||5|| prātar dadhi-guḍa-miśraṁ madhyāhne pāyasaṁ sa-navanītam | kṣīraṁ tṛtīya-kāle sasitopalam ity udīritaṁ dravyam ||6|| tarpayāmi-padaṁ yojyaṁ mantrānte sveṣu nāmasu | dvitīyānteṣu tu tataḥ pūjāśeṣaṁ samāpayet ||7|| abhyukṣya tat-prasādādbhir ātmānaṁ prativedapaḥ | taj japtvā tam athodvāsya tan-mayaḥ prajapen manum ||8|| atha dravyāṇi kāmyeṣu vakṣyante tarpaṇeṣu tu | tāni prokta-vidhānānām āśrityānyataraṁ bhajet ||9|| dravyaiḥ ṣoḍaśabhir amu pratarpayed ekaśaś catur-vāram | sa catuḥ-kṣīrādy-antaiḥ sakṛj-jalādy-antam acyutaṁ bhaktyā ||10|| pāyasa-dādhika-kṛsaraṅgauḍānnapayodadhīni navanītam | ājyaṁ kadalīmocārajasvalācocamodakāpūpam ||11|| pṛthukaṁ lājopetaṁ dravyāṇāṁ kathitam iha ṣoḍaśakam | lājānte’ntya-kṣīrāt prāk samarpya sitopalā-puñjaiḥ ||12|| prage catuḥ-saptati-vāram ity amuṁ pratarpayed yo’nudinaṁ naro harim | ananyadhīs tasya samasta-sampadaḥ kare sthitā maṇḍalato’bhivāñchitāḥ ||13|| dhāroṣṇa-pakva-payasī-dadhi-navanīte ghṛtaṁ ca daugdhānnam | matsyaṇḍī-madhv-amṛtaṁ dvādaśaśaḥ tarpayen navabhir ebhiḥ ||14|| tarpaṇa-vidhir ayam aparaḥ pūrvodita-sama-phalo’ṣtaśa-saṅkhyaḥ | kārmaṇakarmaṇi kīrtau jana-saṁvanane viśeṣato vihitaḥ ||15|| sakhaṇḍa-dhāroṣṇa-dhiyāmukundaṁ vrajan pura-grāmam api pratarpya | labheta bhojyaṁ sarasaṁ sa-bhṛtyair vāsāṁsi dhānyāni dhanāni mantrī ||16|| yāvat santarpayen mantrī tāvat-saṅkhyaṁ japen manum | tarpaṇenaiva kāryāṇi sādhayed akhilāny api ||17|| dvijobhikṣāvṛttir ya iha dinaśo nanda-tanayaḥ svayaṁ bhūtvā bhikṣām aṭati viharan gopa-sudṛśām | amā cetobhiḥ svvair lalita-lalitair narma-vidhibhir dadhi-ksīrājyāḍhyāṁ pracuratara-bhikṣāṁ sa labhate ||18|| madhye koṇeṣu ṣaṭsv apy anala-puṭasyālikhet karṇikāyāṁ kandarpaṁ sādhya-yuktaṁ vivara-gata-ṣaḍ-arṇaṁ dviśaḥ keśareṣu śakti-śrī-pūrvakānidvinavalipimanorakṣarāṇi cchadānāṁ madhye varṇān daśānāṁ daśa-lipi-manu-varyasya caikekaśo’bjam ||19|| bhū-sadmanābhivṛtam asragamanmathena gorocanābhilikhitaṁ tapanīya-sūcyā | paṭṭe hiraṇya-racite gulikī-kṛtaṁ tad gopāla-yantram akhilārthadam etad uktam ||20|| sampāta-siktam abhijaptam idaṁ mahadbhir dhāryaṁ jagat-traya-vaśīkaraṇaika-dakṣam | rakṣā-yaśaḥ-suta-mahī-dhana-dhānya-lakṣmī saubhāgya-lipsubhir ajasram anarghya-vīryam ||21|| bhūtonmādāpasmṛti-viṣa-mūrcchā-vibhrama-jvarārtānām | dhyāyan śirasi prajapen mantram imaṁ jhaṭiti śamayituṁ vikṛtim ||22|| smara-trivikramākrāntaś cakrīṣṇāya-hṛd ity asau | ṣaḍ-akṣaro’yaṁ samproktaḥ sarva-siddhi-karo manuḥ ||23|| kroḍo’gni-dīpto māyāvī-lava-lāñchita-mastakaḥ | saiṣā śaktiḥ parā sūkṣmā nityā saṁvit-svarūpiṇī ||24|| asthy-agni-govinda-lavair lakṣmī-bījaṁ samīritam | ābhyām aṣṭādaśa-lipiḥ syād viṁśaty akṣaro manuḥ ||25|| śālagrāme maṇau yantre maṇḍale pratimāsu ca | nityaṁ pūjā hareḥ kāryā na tu kevala-bhūtale ||26|| iti japa-huta-pūjā-tarpaṇādyair mukundaṁ ya iha bhajati mavor ekam āśritya nityam | sa tu suciram ayatnāt prāpya bhogān viśeṣān punar amalatarantaddhāma viṣṇoḥ prayāti ||27|| iti śrī-nārada-pañcarātre jñānāmṛta-sāre tṛtīya-rātre trayodaśo’dhyāyaḥ ||13|| …

CHAPTER XIIl
ON THE RESULT OF WORSHIPPING IN THE NIGHT SRI KRSNA’S BODY MADE UP MANTRAS.

Thus with laja (fried Tice), these sixteen sorts of articles are to
be offered with Sweetmeats after offering milk (Ksira) in the aforesaid manner. (12)
Thus whoever offers these articles (4x7) twenty eight tinies daily with one minded devotion to Sri Hari, obtains within his clutch all the wealth and, like the articles that are within the Space in front of him in the paja ceremony, all are attained by him. (13)
Offer Him Payasa of fresh pure milk (boiled with sugar and
atap Tice), curd, fresh butter and rice boiled in ghee and milk,
Coarse sugar, honey etc., nine sorts of articles as a peace-offering (tarpanam) twelve times, 14,
