CHAPTER IX
ON THE RADHA MANTRA
Narada said :—Now I am desirious to hear the great and aca mystery. © Mahadeva ! Kindly tell me all the mantras of Srimati Radhika, that are carefully hidden. (1)
ti Mahadeva said :—O Narada ! Now I will tell you that
which I told to Parvati and not to any other body as yet. (2)
O best of the Munis ! “Ram” is the vija mantra of Radha, It
is worshipped in the three words. (3)
O Viprendra! The single lettered mantra yields all the results ; hence the intelligent devotee Sidhaka), who knows es mantras should make purascarana and make japam two jakhi er times. (4)
Now hear another mantra which is like the great Kalpavrksa (tree that yields all objects of desires). Ram Hrim Klim Radhayal Svaha is the mantra v @ aa ward carer” — (5)
fore ; one must £° to the one must
(seed
Now do the morning duties as be sacrificial place, find out the seat and take his seat ; perferm “‘bhitasuddhi’” and make pranyama in malamantra maotra). (6-7)
The Rsi of the mantra, is Mahadeva ; Gayatri 18 the Chanda ; and the Devata is Srimati Radbika. This is stated, though in a hidden way, in all the Sastras. (8) ;
Thus stating the Rgis, etc., perform the Angapaja with “Ram” bija. Then mediate the Devi Radhika as of a golden colour and ready to yield bons. (9)

Wearing golden ornaments, looking at Krsna always, Her eyes directed to the Krgna’s face ; ornamented with necklaces and ankles. (11)
Meditating thus, worship Her mentally with mental articles of worship. After the meditation, place Her in the pedestal i.e, puja ground. (12)
And infusing prana (vital breath) or breathing life with appropriate mantras, the devotee, knowing the mantras, is to offer padyam etc., uttering the mila mantra. (13)
He should offer dhip, light, and Naivedyam and then worship, uttering the mantras. (14)
The white flowers, with Tulasi and Karavira‘lotus, Vaka, and Kancana flowers are highly praised. (15)
Worship can be offered with white as well as with red flowers.
Rules are not to be violated. Keep company and find pleasure with the Vaisnavas. (16)
If you get Janmistami tithi with the Rohini Star, then observe fasting that day. (17)
And if the Rohini Star be not seen, then avoid Saptamitithi. O Brahman ! Thus observe Gosthastami. (18) f
If one does not observe fasting, then hindrance occurs in the realisation of success (Siddhi), and if any Vaisnava eats out of carelessness in the Ekadaéi tithi. (19)
His Visnu Puja becomes useless and he goes to the terrible hell and ineurs sins greater than those of killing one’s father and violating mother, (20)
But the Vaisnavas would never eatin the Ekddagi tithi. O Vipra! Now what you asked me, I have answered. What more do you want to hear. (21) :
