He who knows in truth, as it truly is, this glory of Mine, this expanse, and My yoga, the contriving, the joining, of the Self, or else the power of yoga-sovereignty, the all-knowingness born of yoga, which is called yoga: he is joined with an unwavering, unswerving yoga, marked as the steadiness of right vision. There is no doubt in this matter. With what kind of unwavering yoga is he joined? It is told.

Glory (vibhuti) is lordship; he who knows truly this glory of Mine, in the form of the origination, the standing, and the activity of all things as dependent on Me, and knows My discipline, in the form of My host of auspicious qualities the opposite of everything to be shunned, he is joined with unwavering, untrembling devotion. There is no doubt of this. The meaning is that you yourself will see that the knowledge whose object is My glory and My auspicious qualities is the grower of the discipline of devotion. The Lord shows the growth of devotion that is the ripening of the knowledge of His glory.
