Of the Vedas, Rig, Yajus, Saman, and Atharvan, that eminent one, the Saman, I am. Of the gods I am Indra. Of the eleven senses, the eminent sense, the mind, I am. This too is not a genitive of selection: of beings that have consciousness, the consciousness, I am.
