Of the household priests, the royal chaplains, know Me, O Pārtha, to be the chief, the foremost, Bṛhaspati; for he, being Indra's, would be the chief of chaplains. Of generals, of commanders of armies, I am Skanda, the commander of the gods' army. Of waters, those lakes that are dug by the gods, I am the ocean.
