But, O Arjuna, one who engages in Karma-yoga, controlling the organs of action with the mind and becoming unattached, excels.

Therefore, holding the senses in check by a mind set on the beholding of the self, in scriptural action akin to the objects practised before, the man who, with those senses, of themselves bent toward action, undertakes the discipline of action without attachment, is, since heedlessness is not to be feared in him, more distinguished even than the man settled in knowledge.
