Constantly, at all times, glorifying Me, the Blessed Lord, whose nature is Brahman; and striving by virtues marked as the drawing-in of the senses, calm, self-restraint, compassion, non-violence and the like; firm in their vow, those whose vow is firm, steady, unshakeable; and bowing to Me, the lord of the heart, the Self, with devotion, ever yoked, they worship, they serve. In what manners do they worship? It is told.

By an exceedingly great love for Me, gaining no holding-up of themselves even for a moment, an atom of time, without the praising, the striving, and the salutation of Me, remembering My names that denote My particular qualities, every limb thrilled, their throats faltering with joy, ever proclaiming the names Shri Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Vasudeva, and the like; and likewise striving, of firm resolve and striving in My works, the acts of worship and the rest, of salutation, of praise-making and the rest, and in the works that aid them, the making of houses, pleasure-groves, gardens, and the rest; prostrating like a staff, with the eight limbs, the two feet, the two hands, the head, and the mind, understanding, and conceit bent low under the weight of devotion, upon the ground heedless of dust, mud, gravel, and the like; ever, ever joined, longing for perpetual union, self-possessed, resolved on being My servants, they worship Me.
