But those people of meritorious deeds whose sin has gone to its end, is all but spent, is worn away, whose meritorious action, the cause of the purification of their being, exists, are the doers of merit. Of those doers of merit, those freed from the delusion of the pairs worship Me, the supreme Self, firm in their vow. Those whose discernment is settled, holding the vow of abandoning all, in the conviction that the supreme reality is just this and not otherwise, are called firm in their vow. For what purpose do they worship? It is told.
