He whose mind clings to Me, the supreme Lord, in the special character about to be described, is one whose mind is attached to Me, O Pārtha. Practising yoga, gathering the mind into composure, taking Me as his refuge, with Me, the supreme Lord, as his sole resort: whoever seeks some human goal takes up, as the means to it, some action, a fire-oblation, austerity or a gift, but this yogin takes Me alone as his refuge, setting aside every other means, his mind clinging to Me alone. You, being such a one, hear from Me, as I tell it, how, by what manner, you shall know Me without a doubt, in full, endowed with the qualities of glory, strength, power and sovereignty, knowing with certainty that the Blessed Lord is just so. And that knowledge has Me for its object.
