English Translation
There is no rest to be found in the grip of worldly life; the mind is consumed by its hustle at all hours. Devotion and righteousness have been pushed into a corner while the uproar of sensory pleasures rages on. Day and night are not enough to satisfy the family's demands, and a glimpse of God becomes rare indeed. Says Tuka, O self-destroyers, you commit a grave wrong against Narayana.
