English Translation
What were the milkmaids of Gokul but simple women selling buttermilk, and what were their children but ordinary urchins? Yet see what a passion they had for God; what great ritual or devotion did they perform? What feast had Vidura prepared? Just some coarse grain husks. Says Tuka, and Kubja was only a hunchbacked maidservant, lowly in form and art, yet the Lord gave himself to her.
