English Translation
The witness of your own conscience is what matters; what use is public opinion? True self-interest lies within yourself. Whatever conviction arises in the mind is the true feeling, for God pervades everything, inside and out. A pure heart needs no justification; its truth shines forth of its own accord. The one who truly savors the inner sweetness cares nothing for outward colors. Says Tuka, pure devotion is the key. Narayana Himself becomes the champion of such a soul.
