English Translation

Catch, catch, keep catching again and again; whoever lets the ball slip from his hands will suffer blows from behind. The ball of the three gunas is tossed by your own hand into the open; fix your eyes and mind on the one above who tosses it back. The one who rises higher catches it deftly, while the timid fool stumbles in his back-and-forth. Once something falls into your hand, let no one push you out of your place; grab one chance after another, stooping to seize each one. When the throw goes against you, you must endure mountains of suffering with the load on your back and the whole circle closing in. Says Tuka, see the supreme joy of the one who wins; he conquers, while others are undone by time.
