English Translation
Should I speak, or do You not already know, O God? Whatever You decide, I shall remain in that place as You set me. My mind has grown lame; I can think of no remedy. That is why I cling to Your feet and remain there in my heart. Whether through renunciation or through enjoyment, I do not know what to give up or take up. A great anxiety has gripped my soul. Says Tuka, O Vitthal, when a child is lost in the forest and the mother cannot reach it, the child suffers.
