English Translation
Those religious hypocrites who say "Maya is Brahman" have deceived others along with themselves. Wallowing in sensual pleasures, they teach corrupt knowledge, trailing behind the whims of the mind like a drummer. Cooking and eating forbidden things, they digest them well enough, but when called upon to be generous, they suffer greatly. To give medicine to a child, one must first coax him with a lump of sugar held before his eyes. Before trying to cross, first examine the words of the Vedas; silence the barren chatter of the rest. Says Tuka, those who cannot give up pampering the body will never meet Narayana.
