English Translation
My remedies are exhausted; I have no means to reach Your feet. To practice devotion I lack true feeling; I have no control over my life in any way. To perform charity I have no wealth; to give donations I have no money. I do not know how to honor brahmins or guests. I have no compassion in my hands or belly to extend to living beings. I do not know the service of a guru, attendance upon saints, chanting, austerity, or ritual practice. Renunciation and forest-dwelling are beyond me; I cannot subdue my senses. To go on pilgrimage, my mind will not come along. To keep a vow, I do not know the proper way. If I say God is with me, I deceive both myself and others. Therefore I have become one who surrenders. I am Your servant, marked as Yours. This requires no accumulated merit. Says Tuka, I am at peace with this.
