A Brahmin who rages at the touch of an outcaste is no Brahmin at all. For such defilement there is no atonement, not even the sacrifice of the body. He refuses to touch the lowly, yet the real pollution festers inside him. Says Tuka, whatever caste occupies your mind, that is the caste you truly belong to.
