English Translation
Everything already belongs to Krishna, yet the ignorant mind imagines it to be its own. Because of this, the five senses hunt you down like ghosts on your trail. When you withhold from the true Owner what is his, this forgetfulness itself invites punishment. Says Tuka, Death has you by the throat, and still you cry "mine, mine" at every turn.
